For Merchants Millpond State Park: Great campground! Very spacious sites, flat and well-maintained. Cell service poor, no wi-fi. Most of the sites are set up with the fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad a bit remote from the driveway. Exceptions are sites 7 and 17 where the table and fire ring can be nice and close to your trailer/RV. Site 6 is a third choice, all other sites have the parking and congregation areas separated by several feet. All sites have nice trees and shade, are quiet, and generally there aren't a lot of people there (we had the entire campground to ourselves the first night). We didn't look at the restrooms and showers.

For Merchants Millpond State Park: We stopped here for a night on way back to Vermont. Military discount made cost under $20 for 50 amp electric hookup. Water available and trash bins close by. Hot showers and clean bathrooms. Nice hiking trails. Didn’t get to try the Mtn bike trails as hoped. Our site despite being 80ft long pull through was a tight horseshoe with a massive tree and ditches on both sides. Was tight but got it in. Next time will put a backin site. Very quiet there only 7 other RVs. Sites are far apart with lots of trees between. Trail access on site.

For Merchants Millpond State Park: Really nice family camp spots. Spaced well so your not right on top of the group next to you. Though it didn't much matter because it was not at all busy the weekend we went. Great showers and bathrooms. Firewood is available at the camp ground. The visitor center and cypress swamp forest is less than a mile walk. You can rent canoes for super cheap. Very pretty and worth the trip. I will be going back.
