For Lake Cunningham Campground: Fabulous - West C is new and has all hookups. They were having water issues while we stayed but they did give us $5 off per night because we did not have full hookups. Regular price is $40 which is a tad high BUT no park entrance license required for vehicle or RV. We stayed in site 47 and 49 for my sister. Level cement pads with electric and sewer. Look forward to our next visit!! Park staff was very responsive to email when I choose back in vs pull through. Camphost was very nice. Good job everyone. Convenient to Omaha. Camping World 20 min drive.

Livin the dream

For Lake Cunningham Campground: This campground has been remodeled and just opened up in the month of Aug with an East and West side, we stayed in the new East side for 5 days. Due to the recent remodel and water testing situation, we didnt have water but we were informed of the issue and compensated for the inconvenience which we appreciated but the testing took longer than we expected so we did gave to go get water jugs/water bottles. They did offer someone to come by and fill up our tank (which was helpful) but unfortunately the nozzle didnt work w/our big rig MH. Still we made due because the park design was great, the sites new and big enough for our 39ft rig, the grounds were well kept, the office staff friendly, helpful and apologetic. They spent quite a bit of money redoing this campground with nice walking/biking trails by the marina. There was frisbee golf course by the marina, boat launch, and fishing. Once the get a few hiccups worked out this is going to be a well loved area to go camping. We did have a few ‘needs some work’ issues. Since there was no water we went down to use shower facility which was clean and we didnt mind paying a dollar for 15 mins. Our issue was we couldnt figure out how to start the shower but eventually we did—there is a button you push to start it and out comes a jet of water not a normal shower head! And it only lasts for 15-20 seconds of a jet stream water so you have to keep pushing the button to keep the water going—bad/weird design. The jet should at least stay on for 3 minute intervals. I had to push it 30 times to get hair washed, legs shaved, and soap rinsed. We have stayed at many RV parks and this is standard for longer intervals. We would stay again and recommend to others but not the showers—lol.

Added: would like to suggest to The campground a better access for the East side folks to get to the marina with a bike path. Currently all there is available is a gravel road which was difficult for my dog to walk on and I nearly twisted my ankle on the big hunks of gravel just to get over to the marina area. It would be impossible to take a big thru the gravel just to connect to the VERY nice bike paths on the other side. Even the west campground has better access to bike paths and marina w/a nice bridge. Just a suggestion to them—even a nice mowed trail would help.

For Lake Cunningham Campground: Pretty nice location for a city recreation area. Campground and boat dock (on the other side of the lake) sometimes draw some sketchy people late in the evening.

For Lake Cunningham Campground: Not bad, but we'd probably look for something else before staying here again. There aren't enough water spigots to go around, and it's hard to get near one if you need to fill up. The self-registration area doesn't take checks, we had to walk around and get change from another camper in order to have the correct change.

Bathrooms may have been clean, but very old and poorly maintained. In the women's room, the door of one toilet stall was hanging loose, impossible to close properly.
