For Camp Taylor Campground: Camp itself is very nice. Good size sites, plenty of clean bathrooms and garbage bins. We camped with RV. Plenty of trails that can be accessed right from the camp.. wolf preserve adds an extra attraction… so i would give 5 starts except i wont because of the owner or manager- not sure who this older gentleman with the beard was - but no way to treat your guests this way or talk to anyone in this manner. First night there around midnight we were at our campsite and my dogs (2 golden doodle pups) were off the leash next to me. He walked up from the dark - dogs ran up to him to say hi… he proceeded to yell at me (like i was a school boy) and tell me he is going to throw me out if he sees this again… i understand about the rule and all - but to be so hostel and rude and threaten your customer this way - unacceptable!!! Learn to talk to people with respect. I wont be back which is a shame as this is a good camp

For Camp Taylor Campground: I really enjoyed the Lakota Wolf Perserve talk. The campground is very clean and quiet. The only thing you need to be aware of, if you are an Rv, is getting to campground from Rt 94. Read their directions on the website. This is to avoid the steep climb on Mt Pleasant Road and low hanging branches. You will encounter less hanging branches using their directions.

For Camp Taylor Campground: I thought I was going to a military campground, but it turned out to be a Lakota Wolf Preserve. What a shock!! I always wanted to check this place out. The campground has strict rules, which is understandable, for the protection of the wolves and their campers.

For Camp Taylor Campground: Camp Taylor campground is one of my favorites of all time. It is for a nature lover. It is quiet and peaceful. They have a fantastic swimming pond which is so clean. This family owned campground has a very hands on staff of helpful and pleasant employees. There are great hiking trails here and the sites are just the right mix of shade and sun. The quiet hours are enforced and the owner of the campground walks the sites every night to make sure a peaceful experience can be had by all.

For Camp Taylor Campground: If waking up to the sound of birds while shaded by a canopy of tall trees appeals to you then look no further then Camp Taylor Campgound. What you'll find at Camp Taylor is a friendly staff an active owner and a very clean and orderly campground.

Quite hours are enforced which is fantastic. When the sun drops you'll have a good chance to hear owls hooting and wolves howling and not other campers who think they're at a bar during happy hour. During the day you have plenty to do on the campground from relaxing on the lake beach to hiking. This place has just about everything you could ask for in a Campgound except full hook up, but don't let that stop you from coming here and experiencing one of New Jerseys finest mountain campsite.
