For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Very nicely maintained park and friendly people. Spacious sites. Hookups all worked except wifi. Biggest downfall was the burrs in their plant areas. My dog got burs in his feet every 5 minutes walking. Finally only walked on gravel. Park 20 miles from town of Carlsbad then another 15 miles from there to caverns. Not that convenient a location so would probably not stay again.

For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Very, very nice campground with nice amenities. A bit distant from anything, but might be worth the drives. A good base camp for day trips to the cavern, and in the opposite direction, Roswell.

We visited in early November 2016. Lots of rabbits and roadrunners around our site to add interest. We were plagued with flies the first day, but then the temps dropped and the flies left. Lots and lots of ? weed seeding? that attach to the dogs and get carried in, so we were constantly cleaning them.

Very friendly staff, great dog park and separate dog path. Cable and wifi worked! Clean bath and showers. Loved it.

For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Probably the nicest KOA we have stayed at. Great bathhouse with large showers and lots of washers and dryers. Pull through sites with a good amount of space between sites. It's not in an area that would naturally have trees but there is a tree next to each site. Good signage so easy to find even after dark.

For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Super friendly staff!!! Very spacious sites! Nice pool and dog park! Traveled all over North America and this is quite possibly the nicest RV park (staff and sites)!

YooperDan

For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Extremely clean park with a highly organized staff that is continually working on maintaining the park. On site restaurant provided more than ample dinners to the point that we had smoked turkey for lunch the next day. Watched he staff hand rake the sites of the rigs that had just left.

David D

For KOA Holiday Carlsbad: Very clean, beautiful park and the staff was very nice and helpful. Large pull throughs, nice dog park. Stayed 3 nights, visited Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell. Stayed in motor home towing, price $53, for two adults, two kids and 2 dogs, not sure of the cost breakdown. Will come back.
