For City Of Rocks State Park: We stayed in site 16, no hookup but secluded and amongst some of the rock formations. Not level but was fine for our converted Ford Transit. The shower was hot - almost too hot and no way to adjust the temperature that I could see. It is a push button that you have to press again when the water stops if you’re not finished. Really cool place to see!

For City Of Rocks State Park: Love this park. Such interesting rock formations. You can boondock right next to the rocks although it seemed only a few could accommodate larger rigs. Some leveling needed. We stayed in the main campground which has electric/water in a 50 amp site. Good spacing. Covered concrete patio with a nice table. Nice walking around the rocks. Friendly staff at visitor center. Be advised there is no dump station. Come with empty tanks and provisions and enjoy.

Rick

For City Of Rocks State Park: About 30 miles from highway. Unique park. Some electric sites. $14, $18 with electric. No dump station. Many sites for tents not RV’s. Just check close before reserving. Million stars at night.

Chester

For City Of Rocks State Park: All state parks are temporarily closed due to Covid 19. We thought we could walk in but the gated it off clear back at the main road. We had hoped to camp here in our RV. Call for updates.

For City Of Rocks State Park: Great park. Only draw back is no pump station. Dump station is available just down the road at Faywood Hot Springs .

Wdeertz

For City Of Rocks State Park: Great campground with interesting rock formations. Many of the camp sites are amongst the rock formations. Some sights are difficult to level larger rigs. Stargazing was phenomenal with no ambient light. A bargain at $10 per day.

Kaayaker

For City Of Rocks State Park: Cool place. If you don't need w/e you can camp right in among the rocks. Even big rigs were nestled right in the rocks. Don't miss this place
