For Storrie Lake State Park: I’d like to up the rating on this sweet little gem. I arrived at 4:30 so the gate was open, but it was still open at 6:00 when I went for a walk. The sites are clean and level, but might be a bit muddy when it rains. The common areas are well-maintained and campground is not crowded at all this time of year. One bonus is the primitive camping area near the lake. It runs $8/night. No hookups and the restrooms are closed for the winter, but might be a good option for some. Like most of New Mexico’s State Parks, this one did NOT disappoint!

For Storrie Lake State Park: $14 included 50 amp service waterfront view and lovely large casitas. Get here before 5 pm when gates lock.

For Storrie Lake State Park: Affordable prices. Pull thru, level, water and electric. Very quiet. Nice view. Great for overnight stay. Restrooms under repair cannot use. Don’t let the drive to the park detour you from staying here. Camp host on site

Kris

For Storrie Lake State Park: Arrived before sunset and the gates were locked. The exit for the campground/park has tire spikes so if you leave after 5, you can’t get back in. Never seen a State Park you are trapped in! Lost $14 so you don’t have to.

Lisa

For Storrie Lake State Park: There are about 10 sites with electric and water. VERY tight! Cost is $14 for hookups. Park is full of locals and doesn't seem to be very well maintained. We stayed one night while passing through but probably won't stay again.

AKRANGER

For Storrie Lake State Park: This is a primitive camp site with restrooms. Park along the lake is unsupervised. Cost is $5/day to access park & $3 to camp over night. Very popular with locals, who jet ski, boat and relax. Kid friendly. Very windy during my visit (+/- 20mph).

Liz Mc

For Storrie Lake State Park: Ugh, arrived on a Friday at 5:15 PM and the gates were locked. They close at 5 and there was no way to access the campground
