For Pacific City RV & Camping Resort: Stayed here July 2018, was the worst campground we have stayed at all year. Trash piled up near bathrooms that are not working, pool closed because of algae, store closed because no one to work it, water contaminated in campground, zero cell service for any carrier, no WiFi working at club house, on and on. Sad situation here, in a very nice location.

For Pacific City RV & Camping Resort: Out of the 15 TT Parks we have visited, this is the most poorly maintained. Half of the bath houses/toilets are out of commission due to a drain field problem. The toilets are now surrounded by Porta-Potties. The working toilets are serviced sporadically and sometimes run out of toilet paper. Roads are full of pot holes. Some of the turns are very tight - but doable with a lot of care. The Ranger Station closes throughout the day as the park is very short staffed. We experienced electrical problems - but the staff did call an electrician who fixed it the next day (we had no electricity for the night and there were no other sites we could get our 34’ travel trailer into). The WIFI at the lodge does not work so the only WIFI is at the Ranger Station. THere is no cell service (which is no a park problem). There are very few sewer sites. However, it is only a 10 minute walk to the beach and the foliage in the park is beautiful. There is wildlife around - we saw a doe and three fawns walk down the road very calmly as all the campers were lining the road taking photos. So I can see why people would put up with all the issues - but we did not stay our full reservation.

For Pacific City RV & Camping Resort: National Forest area with moss hanging from trees. Pavement is twisty, rough & broken with patches of dirt road. Know your rig. Backing in is on driver'a blind side. Narrow sites but wonderful area to explore. Park knows sites taken but help choosing a site is not provided. You are not allowed to drop your trailer to take smaller car to find a site. This causes every rig tearing up the roads. Traffic would be less of staff provided a wipe off board to mark sites taken. Staff is voluntary and No one truly cared about the Park. 39 full hookups from 305 sites. Nice family park with path to beach.
