Squeaky

For Raab Campground: This Forest Service campground is reserved for groups only. No hook-ups, no water, only pit toilets. Cost is $50 night for up to 30 people. It's set on the beautiful Collawash River and not too far from Bagby Hot Springs--an amazing hike whether you choose to soak or not. Each group site is really a loop, with about 4 separate sites. We fit in fine with our Class B campers. But because this campground caters to groups, as you can imagine, it gets loud--just the normal noise of a group of 20 friends having a good time, which wasn't too bad. But there seems to be some kind of shooting range right across the river and we were awakened at 8am Sunday morning to the sound of gunfire. Not the most peaceful experience, which is too bad, because the area is gorgeous.
