For Heceta Beach RV Park: Loved this campground. Owner and employees were so helpful, starting with Carmen who took our reservation. Near the beach and very quiet during our week here. Grounds are well kept, we didn’t use the restrooms/ showers but my husband used the small weight room several times. The laundry room was very clean with 2 washers and 2 dryers that looked new and worked perfectly. We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend!

For Heceta Beach RV Park: This facility doesn’t even deserve one star. Unfortunately, there’s not a choice for that. As a new guest staying for four nights five days… Our first interaction with the host/manager Mike when I asked about the Wi-Fi he said the only place you can use it is here in the office. I said well I need to conduct some business and some conference calls… He said well why are you camping if you’re working? Really, that’s my prerogative not his. This place is disgusting. It is dusty, dirty, noisy with street traffic archaic all the bathrooms are disgusting and so is the office and market. Do not stay here.!!!!!!!!!!!

Bethany Lown

For Heceta Beach RV Park: Words can't describe how badly I was treated by the owner of Heceta Beach RV Park! I booked two nights canceled two weeks before trip due to my daughter getting a job. My husband called and canceled they said there was a cancellation fee. So I called and spoke with manger nice guy but he told me without a doubt I was told there was a Cancellation fee I apologized and told them no one had informed me of the cancellation fee that I had even told the original person that I booked with that I would possibly be changing the dates they said no problem so when I told the manager this he told me there's nothing he can do and I said well there's got to be someone else I can speak to and he said the owner so I spoke to the owner Mike the man was very rude very defensive told me there was no way his staff could have made this mistake and if Alex his employee made this Mistake then he was gonna fire him I said sir that is not necessary I said all I'm trying to do is let you know that nobody had told me this policy he then told me we train all out staff to say this so you must be mistaken if this policy wasn't told to you then I'm firing Alex he repeated this multiple times that he was going to fire this employee for his mistake. I told the owner Mike this is not what I'm calling to do I said but due to the fact that I was treated so rude I would be writing a bad review the owner Mike again very rudely said we'll I'll be firing Alex and then hung up! I understand the world is very crazy now but treating people so harshly and holding an employees job over a customers head is Gross misconduct and he will not get far in life treating people the way that he did!

Management Response: Cancel vs Change. When you made the reservation, Alex read you the Cancellation Policy (it is also on our web site) after which you told Alex that you might be changing the dates and if you did, would there be a charge? Alex said there is no charge If you change dates. But you did not CHANGE dates, you CANCELED the dates and were charged accordingly. Steve forewarned me that you were argumentative, threatening a bad review and just over the top, when you spoke with him. So I made sure to keep my tone level & factual. But it didn't matter, Steve was right. You posted this same review twice on Google under two different names Bethany W & Bethany M. What type of person does that?

Serena

For Heceta Beach RV Park: I wouldn’t camp here again. Pretty lousy location...far from beach (you have to walk several blocks on a busy highway). Staff was nice. Brochure looked like professionally done, but woefully misleading. My guess is family members got on here and gave it the high rating.

For Heceta Beach RV Park: Large spaces for your RV. Close to the beach. Friendly staff. You can hear the ocean mornings and evenings. Decent internet. No ATT service.

Steve

For Heceta Beach RV Park: Great park! Friendly staff, very quiet and dog friendly. The beach is not too far, I walked the dog there every day. Couldn't get satellite at my space so used park cable, it was ok. Wi-Fi was spotty, AT&T and T-Mobile didn't work.

Happycrab

For Heceta Beach RV Park: Guess this is the only negative review. Directions into park misleading. Confusion over where to pull in—arrows say one thing— nasty owner says another. Did not stay and won’t ever. Too many other parks just as nice and FRIENDLIER. !!!
