For Meadow Wood RV Park and Campground: DO NOT Stay here. The review that said it looked like a homeless encampment is accurate as of August 2020. The road to the park needs to have its trees trimmed so if you are in a class a you are in trouble. 1 mile of the road to get to the park is a dusty gravel road. When it is said go with your gut instinct I did I left! The park was filled with RV’s that have not been roadworthy in some time. There is a lot of Junk laying around.

For Meadow Wood RV Park and Campground: We pulled off looking for a spot for the night. After a mile of dirt road, the encampment came into view. I say encampment because it looked like a homeless camp: junk everywhere, rundown trailers, crappy barely running vehicles. At least two of the residents were metal scrapping. I wouldn’t park there for a minute, much less overnight. Hard pass. Turned around and drove out, with about 10 pounds of dust I had to wash off this evening.

For Meadow Wood RV Park and Campground: I rented a monthly RV site#61B in May 2017, paying $300 initially: $280 prorated rent / $20 towards the $200 sec deposit. I and my spouse are both employed as long haul team truck drivers, our son Daniel remained at this rented RV site while we worked; Daniel and an Dish Network installment technician were harassed by Walt Jones the Manager of this RV Park, Daniel was served an Eviction Notice against me for violating this RV Park rules * Installing Dish Network at my rented RV site*,,, the Dish equipment was actually installed upon my MACK Truck not upon the ground! , I also had paid full month rent amount $350 for June 2017 and paid remaining sec deposit owed $180. I recieved numerous harassing phone calls from Park Manager Star Jones, wife of Walt Jones- Manager threatening to evict me from this RV Park for installing Dish Satellite TV/Internet which she stated was in violation of their Park Rules. Actually this RV Park in so doing were violating FCC laws. After much telecommucative harrassment from this RV Park Managers...We arrived on June 5, 2017 at this RV Park taking time from performing our job as OTR truck drivers in which to Vacate this monthly RV site, we had recieved an anonymous tip from another park resident that our Mack Semi Truck which was still hooked to our fifth wheel RV trailer had been SABOTAGED by the Park Manager Walt, we spent over 2 hours pumping the contaminated diesel fuel out of our truck, replacing with good clean diesel fuel in order to be able to start the engine without damaging the vehicle system, while my husband Karl and son Daniel performed this needed task, Park Manager Star Jones lingered at our RV site kind of like how a vulture bird would to consume an dead carcass, I, Shirley Tinney, attempted to personally serve upon her our written Notice to Vacate Rented Premises and Demand of refund of $200 Security Deposit and remainder of unused rent $280: Total Amount owed by them to us $480. Whereas Star Jones refused personal service, this action took place about a week after our arrival at our RV site and as I was exiting our pickup truck Park Manager Walt Jones approached me in an aggressive physical manner...body slamming himself against me and yelling in my face that I was Evicted as of June 1st!! His physical action caused me much pain due to my having endured gynecological surgery on April 13, 2017. Star Jones stated to me that they were not going to return any of our monies paid. I also placed a copy of our written Notice to Vacate- Demand of unused rent and Security Deposit upon their grey colored pickup truck under the driver side windshield wiper blade and I took pictures to document this legal service action as well as pictures of the RV site and our actions of removing the contaminated fuel from Mack into proper fuel receptacle for future use in pursuance of legal court actions in local Douglas County, Oregon Court. It was later ascertained by an experienced Diesel mechanic that the fuel contaminated illegally added to Sabotage our Mack Truck was a type of Varnish which would have caused serious costly damage to the vehicle system. ** This review is intended to make other people aware of the possible consequences of renting an RV space here at "Meadow Wood RV Park" should the Management decide to become Malicious toward residents renting at this RV Park!!! ** also we believe that this married couple naming Walt and Star Jones along with their family members residing in this RV Park and accomplices are manufacturing and distributing illegal METHAMPHETAMINE at this RV Park!!!!! BEWARE!!!

For Meadow Wood RV Park and Campground: We pulled in here about 5 in the afternoon after a long day of driving north on I-5. They give a 50% veterans discount! This is phenomenal! So being a veteran they wanted 14.95 to camp. The sewer, water and electric worked fine. The wifi was non working at our site, also the cable Tv was pretty sketchy. The dirt road in was very passable, a little dust never killed anybody. The sights were well groomed green grass. Site was level And hook ups were easy to use. I would stay here again. We camped here in a travel trailer.
