For Parker Dam State Park: This really is a nice park for families and probxnly those without pets. The sites are nice, paved, with full hookups as well as those with only electricity or nothing as well. Avoid site 80–virtually all sites had siavuous area and not too close, this one was squished between two sites with no lateen hook, a dilapidated table shoved between me and the trailer 8-10 feet away. For someone with dogs, the campground is designed such that you must walk in and out of a remote entrance. I walked back in through the entrance, past the host, and instead of saying something to me the guy smiled hello and then got a state ranger to come talk to me, who was thankfully nice, but really? There is absolutely no cell service there (AT&T ), which for me traveling alone doesn’t work, but for others might. A beautiful park but o would never go back with dogs. Other PA parks have non-pet sites but they are not blocking the entrance and normal exit to the campground.

For Parker Dam State Park: Beautiful state park with level spots offering a variety of services from full hookups to water/power only to rustic. Hosts are helpful. Plenty of playground equipment for kids. Lake is clean and clear. Grounds are well maintained. Bathrooms showers and laundry are plentiful and clean. Camping area separate from day stayers. Would come again.

For Parker Dam State Park: It’s a nice park. Unfortunately the campground host wanted to charge us $39 on a Wednesday for a tent sight with no hook ups. I don’t know if he didn’t like the looks of us or if he was going to pocket the extra cash. We will be contacting the park office about this.

For Parker Dam State Park: Beautiful park. Quiet, large, paved sites. Several with full hookups. Great Lake and beach in the middle of the Pennaylvania hardwood forest. Well maintained and a friendly staff.

For Parker Dam State Park: Parker State Dam was amazing. Lots are paved for campers, nice size. Very clean. There is only electric hookups for campers, but they do have very nice clean bath-houses. I was very impressed, as a first time camper to a PA state park. The Dam is beautiful and they have a lot to officer.
