For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: I loved the old buildings on the grounds including the mill with its millstone exhibit. The campground was a quick overnight stop for us. Our site was decent and fairly level. We had deluxe which did not include Sewer. I believe the preferred sites do for an extra $4. Golf carts everywhere driven by texting teens. Kids on bikes scooters and electric toy cars. Very unnerving and dangerous. Kids were noisy and played late with little adult supervision. People were bonkers about their Halloween decor. One site had over 40 displays and was setting up more. It really kills the camping spirit. On our way out we saw what looked to be preferred in another section and it appeared quieter. This place could be so much more if they’d rein in the obnoxious displays and cut down on golf carts.

For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: Picked this place due to location to several areas wanted to see. Big Mistake. 1. Electrical outlet had reverse polarity. When went to office for a different site was told they had nothing else available except an emergency site right in the middle of playground parking roads etc. no full hook up. Staff told us there was nothing they could do. Reservations were made six months ago and staff person told us this was not the first time this problem had occurred. We finally told them we would use our generator but they needed to fix it next am. Sure enough, after they once again told us just to use it when they pulled the plug it was fried. 2. Fire pit dirty with garbage and cans. We cleaned it ourselves due to flies. 3. Park overrun with golf carts, mopeds, Hoover boards, go carts. Kids running wild. After dark. Very dangerous. No rules enforced and no parents around. 8 kids in a golf cart with a teenager driving while texting. Golf cart parade. 4. Seemed to be a lot of long term residents who left the park for their work shift every am at 730 am in trucks with no mufflers. Back side of park very very tight. Sites on top of each other. Would have left but had commitments in area and we were not at the campground very much. Thank goodness. Maybe when it was a state park rules were enforced. Nice facilities for kids and families, but seemed like an over run day care camp for locals. Go to a real state park. Most are very nice.

Eric

For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: Ok, inexpensive place to stop near I 75. Fuel & shopping nearby in London. Restrooms clean, staff friendly. Campsites are too close together. Picnic tables are in bad shape. Seems to be a number of long term residents for some reason... more trailer park than campground. Campground well patrolled by vehicles with really bright lights.

KyBob

For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: Very nice, clean, and well lit CG. Restroom and shower facilities very clean. There is a very nice trail over to an old mill. We stayed in early November 2019 and it was not very busy. Easy access to town for supplies.

Bj

For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: Problems with locals pulling in and taking up spots for 14 days and only paying 1 week. Then the walk up policy allows their spot to be a no book for next 14 days with them the option to take first. So, walk up is not truly walk up...unless it is a one day walk up. Ky horsepark says pay for your entire stay. If you decide to stay and your spot has been booked by someone else, you move. The way it should be at all Ky state parks.

Namma

For Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park: Thought I was really doing good when I booked two pull thrus for us and traveling friends. Sites fairly level but the back end of this park is not as well maintained. Friends had really hard time getting into site & out (tree). Area was pretty though.
