Lonnie

For Tana-See Campground: First time visiting this park our 40’ Motorhome and have found the park to be very cozy. Lots of permanent residents but all seem to keep their sites clean. Park manager has been very helpful . Great Wi-Fi and cable service. Close to town and grocery stores and etc. Fancy it is not, maybe comfortable would be good way to describe it. We will return when in the area.

For Tana-See Campground: Very nice country campground. Super friendly staff woke up to a wonderful chirping of the local birds. Great overnight stop

akalynchs

For Tana-See Campground: Stayed on July 19, 2019 as we were passing thru to Land btwn the Lakes in a 24’ travel trailer. Basic campground with many permanent residents. We were not greeted just rushed to our site which wasn’t large enough for the TV & trailer, although we managed to move to another that was vacant. The site lady preferred cash since she was headed out for the hospital. $45, no receipt. Full hookup, no cable or WiFi.

CJD

For Tana-See Campground: Only stayed one night as we were passing through but could have stayed longer. Had a nice level pull through 50A FHU site. Gravel pad and grass on both sides. The new owner has put a lot of time and effort into improving this park. Bathrooms are clean as is the pool. We would stay here again. We were glad they were not affected by Hurricane Florence. They were host to many travelers fleeing the storm. Stayed here in a Motorhome towing.

BBeaver

For Tana-See Campground: Very Sweet Campground, everyone was happy and friendly. The owners put a lot of thought and care into making it a welcoming and pleasant RV “Park””. It is a park like setting with a little creek, swimming pool, duck pond, big trees and covered picnic areas. They get a 10 out of 10 for bathhouse cleanliness! They were immaculate! However, RV spacing was close. Close & convenient to gas station big enough to get your larger RV in and out. Close to truck repair places and Huddle House. GOOD location!

Gay Prince

For Tana-See Campground: Stayed there 2 nights in April. Site are level, nice size pull-thru. Easy access off I-40. Friendly staff and okay park. No TV, so if it rains, not much to do. Close to the Bush Bean factory which is a fun tour. Wouldn't stay for a lengthy stay, but it's great for passing thru.

Christmas

For Tana-See Campground: Thought I better review it in 2018. We stopped at another park 17 miles away and it was just to close to freeway, and looked like it was too wrapped up in the white water business. So we drove further to look at this one. We called the park to see if they had any openings. They did but the said that they were closing the office but that we could pick up an envelope and find a pull through site. The park was unique in that the left side of the park looks like a storage location for RV's. It has a nice river on the far side and it appeared that some people leave their trailers there and probably treat them like a cabin in the mountains. They do have temporary and permanent residents. Usually I'm not impressed with the dual role. But I felt they have done a very good job of serving each. The residents were friendly and seem to have a community that works together, they were also helpful and helped me get on WiFi. They have a pool, but it was covered so I can't comment on the pool. They have a small miniature golf course, play structure and pond that is attractive. The campsite is no longer as new as it was in the prior reviews. It does show some age, but they seem to keep up on maintenance. The do have some good size trees but my site 4 was able to pick up all my satellites. The bathhouse and laundry looks clean. It is a short drive off the freeway, but a hill behind the campsite seems to block most of the noise.
