For Pecan Grove RV Park: Great park in an awesome location. The gentleman working the front desk was courteous and helped guide my trailer into the site. $55 for the night included tax and electricity.

Great brewery and smokehouse next door too!

For Pecan Grove RV Park: FRIENDLY AND FUNKY - wonderful location. Bob the manager is sweet and friendly. Over half the park is permanent stays. Some vintage RVs. Great location near the South Lamar bridge. Walk over the river and up to the capitol and 6th street. Right in the center of Austin. Bike to anywhere. Short walk to Saxon Pub for music or Odd Duck for grub. Other restaurants next door are Shady Grove, Chuy and Uncle Billys. We will go back. Only take cash or check. Bathhouse could use help.

Caravan of Love

For Pecan Grove RV Park: We live in Austin and have heard about this place forever. We decided to camp here for on a lark and somehow got a spot a few days prior to ACL. Yep, it's kinda well used. But the location is awesome and the full timers are all Austin authentic. It's not a KOA but a great time, none the less.

For Pecan Grove RV Park: We normally don't like RV parks but this one is very quaint in a perfect location to visit Austin. Walkable to Barton springs and lots of yummy food nearby. Mostly residents so call ahead of time to make reservations (there's no website or online booking). We paid $35 to camp in front of the garage since we have a small campervan. Normally $45 a night for a normal RV spot.

For Pecan Grove RV Park: Talk about throw back Thursday. This is throw back RV life located In downtown Austin. Had no tow car which was Why I selected this spot. Walk to all the eats and drinks you need and a bikes ride to all else. Accommodating staff but this too is throw back. Cash or check and handwritten receipts. Too cute. Very FEW spots available because of full timers so we were lucky 2 weeks out to secure an overnight. Really wanted 2 nights but with rodeo coming to town and some downtown music thing we were out of luck. Remember, planning is of the essence. We're new to this and now know better. Hope to get to get to again next winter and will plan accordingly.

Retired roadtrppers

For Pecan Grove RV Park: May not have all the rv park amenities that many rvers deem necessary, but the location cant be matched. Bathrooms are as described by other reviews-woefully inadequate, but if your traveling in a rv, you bring those amenities with you. It has a hippie, cool vibe... Friendly staff and residents many of which seem fulltime. Don't be put off by the appearance. It is so well located & walking distance to just about everywhere you want to go.

Jean

For Pecan Grove RV Park: this is an old park with mostly permanent or perhaps seasonal sites. Many look unused recently. The park is not well kept up at all. The bathrooms are old and not maintained well. They are dirty, with the shower caddy almost falling apart with the plastic coating mostly off and the frame rusty. The windows are caked in dirt, and it is impossible to see through them. There was no private dressing area for the shower. The showers are private but the dressing area is a common room. The water is hot and the pressure is good. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the oark is in a good location. There are restaurants, a park, and bicycle rentals within walking distance. The internet is spotty, but the cable TV is good. the park is over priced at $40 per night, and we would look for somewhere else if we are in Austin again.
