For Padre Balli Park: Excellent experience camping in my 23ft motorhome at Padre Balli Park. Very neat and clean, including the shower. Check-in was professional and informative. There’s basically three choices- full hookup 30/50 amp, water, septic; economical 30 amp, water ( dump station in the park fo registered guests) and tent sites (30 amp and water). All three have parking on a cement pad. Spacious lots on a large grassy park about a block away from the sandy beach. I’ll come again.

For Padre Balli Park: Update. Don’t be fooled by what they don’t tell you. ANY Rv over 26 ‘ is required to go into $50 sites. Plus a $3 service fee to use credit card. Their rates clearly state $25 for 20/30 amp service and nothing about maximum length. It’s a scam by deception. The people responsible should be flogged. It’s not the only place around here so don’t get suckered.

For Padre Balli Park: Apparently under new idiot management. Although it appears that it has been reconditioned, their rules are not friendly. 3day limit, no exceptions, 50 amp service is double the 30 amp. 50 amp units are not allowed in 30 amp service sites. No wonder the park is always empty. Dump and water fill is available for non registered campers, for a fee of course.

For Padre Balli Park: This could be a great place but is very poorly maintained. Like other review, bathroom by cheaper sites should be condemned. Water is nice and hot though. Cheaper sites in parking lot are tight and is in dire need of repaying. Picnic tables are falling apart. None the less we stayed 4 nights as the price was reasonable. Like I said could be great as they need to reinvest and do some needed upgrades.

For Padre Balli Park: 30 amp area is sketchy!! Trash all over the ground. Transients roaming around and living there in vans. Person behind us living in a cargo storage container left their dog in a crate outside for hours at a time barking at everything that moves. Guy in the office not very friendly. Steps from the beach is great as long as you go during daylight!!

For Padre Balli Park: This park is right on the beach. that is best thing about it. The campground roads are full of potholes. The old restroom and showers are run down. The brand new restrooms and showers are private. One room has a stool and lavatory. The shower has a flat floor with 2 drains. The shower head is not adjustable so it shoots water all over the floor. The seat is in the shower so it gets soaked. The only other thing in there is a small wastebasket. Not even a soap dish. Water was plumbed backwards - cold is hot, hot is cold. We stayed in the cheap spots -$25 a night but the nice spots are $50 and still the same shower house. None of the washers work in the laundry. Definitely not worth the money
