For Lackland AFB FamCamp: RV park is small but we’ll maintained. Some long term residents but most keep sites neat. Campers are friendly. Lots of families. David is the office staff and keeps the park running smoothly. He is helpful in helping find a site with you. If there are none available you can wait In an overflow site until someone checks out. He is in the office Sunday - Thursday 9 am to 5 pm so I recommend having a camp host for after hours and when he is off. The air conditioned laundry room is awesome! 4 washers and dryers. They provide wipes for cleaning the machines. There is a large table for folding clothes and cable tv for entertainment. I did not use the showers or restrooms but bet they are great. JBSA is close to a lot of activities. We enjoyed the Riverwalk and the Tejas Steakhouse and Rodeo in Belvedere, TX. We parked in site 9 in a 32 ft class A Motorhome.

For Lackland AFB FamCamp: This is such a nice base set up. David keeps everything running smoothly to get you into a spot when he can. The park is nice and well kept. The bathrooms are very nice. The laundry room is perfect. Disinfectant wipes available to wipe down laundry facilities after you touch items. This is a superbly run facility. Most everyone is good about cleaning up after their pets. We’re here December 27 for 2 weeks. Great watching students fly C-5s and F-18’s. Will be back longer next time.

For Lackland AFB FamCamp: Stayed here in March 2016. Nice camp clean and convenient to BX and other base facilities. They have a first come first serve no reservations. The problem that i saw was the people that were allowed to stay for months on end and one or two that live there. You are supose to vacate the camp after 2 weeks but that rule is not enforced.

For Lackland AFB FamCamp: Facilities are a bit outdated but very clean. Parking spots are slightly tight and only one way in and out. It has a constant breeze so keep your roller shades retracted of wind damage. It is conveniently located by the NCO club which offers great wings for a good price on Tuesdays. Godfathers pizza a mile on base has 3.00 mini pizzas on Mondays. Excellent stop off or getaway. We loved staying there.
