For Van Horn RV Park: Converted KOA which is a plus. They have upgraded the sites however they’ve placed poles out in the roadway to more delineate their sites which severely limits your turning radius. Utilities were well placed. Good power.

For Van Horn RV Park: Very nice park. Clean with pretty views of the mountains. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

For Van Horn RV Park: The staff was very helpful and it was easy to check in and find a spot. As noted by others there is a café on the premises and fishing available. Because of Covid we didn’t check out the amenities. The big issue for us was the fact that the water and electricity were within a couple of inches of each other. Photo provided.That’s the only reason we wouldn’t return, but that’s it: we won’t return!

For Van Horn RV Park: Great place to stay! Quiet with full hookups. Onsite restaurant (just re-opening with Covid problems) and a small store with staples. Penny was extremely nice. Don't forget your fishing pole for catfish in their (small) but relaxing pond. They stay open until 7pm which is nice. Will definitely call this a regular stop.

For Van Horn RV Park: We had a late check in . The employee was very helpful and nice when I called . No hassle to check in late . She left everything we needed taped to the door . We paid the next morning . The park was clean and well maintained .

For Van Horn RV Park: Stayed in a 35 foot 5th wheel in Mid-March 2020. On our way to get to our spot to hunker down, we had booked a nights stay here and expected the place to be full as a lot of these smaller spots in Texas full up with oil drill workers and such. We came in at 5:15 and had to wait in line to get our sport. The woman at the front counter was alone and handling folks one by one and with a smile. We got our spot and leveled up pretty easy and tended to chores. Hubby wanted tv and had some trouble getting the cable tv working so I called the office and the same lady who helped us said to turn off the antenna booster...duh. That fixed the problem and life was good. An hour later she came by our site, obviously on her way home for the night just to check that all was working well. Sweet! If ever driving through we will come here again. Simple but nice little place, far enough from I-10 to not hear the road noise. Did not use their facilities, so we can’t rate on that basis. Cell signal was ok.
