For Oak Creek Campground: Oct. 2020: Visited this campground to check on freshwater availability. There are at least 2 faucets with standard hose threads in the campground, which can be used to fill hand-carried containers and possibly a RV freshwater tank, with a hose (but water pressure is low, so it would take some time). These are turned off for the winter when freezing weather begins, so check with the local Forest Service office for exact info on seasonal water availability. This is a small campground, and as stated by a previous reviewer, not for bigger rigs. We thought the entire campground would be too tight for anything longer than a 21' Class B van conversion, although there were a couple of very small teardrop-style trailers. Most sites are not very level, and are quite narrow. The entire campground is really not designed for trailer/rv use, but for car/tent camping. It's a nice wooded setting. A camp host is on-site. The adjacent Forest Service gravel road is heavily used, so the camp sites closer to the road get some dust.

For Oak Creek Campground: Small and very wooded campground. Fees are actually $12/site and they don't recommend a trailer larger than 20'. Only 3 spots for trailers. Creek runs through campground touching 3 of the sites. A lot of hiking nearby and ATV trails. If you stay on road without turning into campground there are a lot of dispersed sites. Only drawback is the cattle guard on the highway very close by. Very few vehicles (if any) between 10pm-7am.
