For Natural Tunnel State Park: Stayed in Lover Loop site 7. Note that starting March 2, 2018 all site in this look are "site specific" reservations only. Level/gravel space back in. Bathroom the cleanest I've seen in a SP. At this time of year (late Aug) sites 2,3,4, 10 and 12 seemed to have the more pm shade and privacy. Checked out Cove View as well. All are pull thru, more shade but NO PRIVACY. Bathrooms there old but clean. The chair lift ride to the tunnel is a must do. Got lucky and the train passed while we were there. It was AWESOME. The park staff do not know the train schedule due to security reasons after 9/11. Chairlift and pool passes are include in your stay.

For Natural Tunnel State Park: Every Virginia State Park we have stayed in has been great! Natural Tunnel is no exception! The natural tunnel is amazing and worth the visit!
