For Stoney Creek Resort Campground: Stayed here for one night as we passed through the area. Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly. Full service restaurant on site. Our tent site was right along the creek. Beautiful spot. Very quiet. Bathrooms and bath house was very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Dave

For Stoney Creek Resort Campground: Did not stay. My wife and I are new to RV'ing and wanted to scout out some close by places. This place would be extremely difficult to get to. There are several spots along the way that had obviously been damaged by rv'ers going here.
Inside the park. The park appeared to be very run down with the majority of the spots occupied by year round campers. Many of the campers were in disarray and looked like the had been there for years. I didn't feel comfortable driving through here much less staying there. Needless to say, I would not stay here or recommend this place to anyone I know.

For Stoney Creek Resort Campground: Getting here was definitely a challenge! Depending on which set of directions you use, all the roads in this part of the world have both numbers & names - and often the names change from one town to the next. Interior roads not very good, either. Lots of interesting things to see in the area, but not worth the driving hassle especially if you have a truck.

FabulousA

For Stoney Creek Resort Campground: Could not stay here, even though we called ahead and were told big rigs come in there all the time. The road was very narrow with decomposing pavement and low overhanging branches that hit out antenna. When we got there, the site they sent us to was already occupied, so we were asked to pay more for another site that would accomodate our rig. No matter what, we'd have to unhook the toad to enter the campground proper. We decided not to stay, mainly because the employees who spoke with us were rather arrogant and defensive toward us. We walked the grounds in half of the campground and found the sites to be cramped, not level and some had mounds or other obstacles to backup over. Otherwise the pond was pretty and people looked happy with the pool and playground. The store was well stocked, including a small selection of domestic beers and wines.
