For Greenwood Lodge and Campsites: Absolutely fabulous campground with very big sites and lots of forest. Bathroom and shower are spotless but small. Good internet Owners that really care. Two beautiful ponds and free canoes. Lots of hiking trails directly from the campground. One of the nicest places we have stayed and definitely gives you the Vermont feel. The forest , stream and large sites make it special Highly recommend

For Greenwood Lodge and Campsites: My wife and I and our dog spent two wonderful weeks here in late May, early June. This was our first time in Vermont and Ann, Ed and Chris, our hosts, made us feel most welcomed! The campground is in excellent shape and they take great care of the grounds and the bathhouses were super clean. The campground is beautiful nestled in amongst several hills with two ponds on it and a beautiful stream running by the campsites. This is a great campsite for a homebase if you like to hike. A trail head to the Appalachian and Long trail are just 3 miles away and it is very convenient to other trailheads along the Appalachian Trail. The campground is dog friendly and has many dog bag/waste stations throughout. The hosts are very conservation minded and they had seven separate bins for different types of recyclable material. Our campsite had a strong Wi-Fi signal. Needless to say, when we return to Southwest Vermont, we will be staying at Greenwood Lodge and Campground.

PJ

For Greenwood Lodge and Campsites: Greenwood Campground is better than Woodford State Park Campground Greenwood is a better value, Woodford charges $21 plus $12/hr for canoe rental plus coin operated showers. Greenwood charged $42 for our RV site, so for $8 more you get on site wifi, water and electric, free canoes, free showers, free books and a game room. Woodford has no on site wifi, water or electric and RV size is limited. While both campgrounds are surrounded by Green Mountain National Forest, Greenwood is closer to the Appalachian/Long Trail and it's on site trails are more open. Greenwood has a Vermont country store within walking distance. Greenwood is closer to Bennington.

Cora

For Greenwood Lodge and Campsites: A really nice campground. Level, spacious sites. Great facilities. Beautiful scenery. We wished we could have stayed longer than our overnight. We hope to be back in the spring for two nights and have a chance to hike the trails. The entire ski hill is open to hiking in the off-season. Definitely work this campground into your plans.
