For Dash Point State Park: Scary. Did not sleep well last night. We have a two day reservation but I’ll try to find a new campground for 2nd tonight. Activity all night long. Headlights, car door chimes, outdoor voice volume conversations on and on until 4AM. Many of the rigs look like full time live-a-boards. This morning I see some just sleep in their vehicles.

For Dash Point State Park: This could be an amazing place to stay! The trails were awesome and the beach was great at low tide. The campground was filthy, dog poo all over and garbage. We never saw a site being cleaned because the bums would occupy them as soon as they were available. We kept everything locked up and some of the sites looked like they were occupied full time. I would probably not stay again if it weren't for the trails. It was expensive compared to other states. No discounts except resident disabled veteran. We even had to pay extra for being out of state.

For Dash Point State Park: We have been traveling through Washington State Parks for five weeks and this park was a disappointment. The sites were not clean and the entire park was a mess compared to the five other parks that we stayed in. There is definitely a problem with squatters in the park and the ranger is aware of the problem, we had a group next to us that appeared to be dealing [bad] . They come in after hours and the ranger will run them off the next day. There is a camp host in the park, but she was so old that she could not get out of the trailer to assist me with my reservation. We felt unsafe and will not return to this park.

For Dash Point State Park: A pleasant surprise near Seattle. Park was clean, staff was friendly, and sites were nice if a bit close together. Nice hike through woods to a pretty beach on Puget Sound. Site squatting seems to be a persistent issue: we had someone in our reserved spot when we arrived, and so did at least 2 other campers arriving that day. Rangers sorted it out quickly, though.
