For Fort Worden - Beach: Lovely campground, right on the water, with new bathrooms and hookups. Moved from Forest Campground because of storm knocking down branches. No trees on the beach campground, but it is closer to conference center with museums, restaurant, pub, WWI bunker, etc. Very interesting - would like to come back and stay here again for a few days.

For Fort Worden - Beach: Love how much room each site has. Bathroom wasn’t heat for mid November and the shower wasn’t working very well.

For Fort Worden - Beach: We spent a full week at Fort Worden last June. We were in a 37’ motorhome on a full hookup site on the lower, beach campground. This is a great, open place with easy beach access over a low dune. Our grandkids were so engrossed with the wildlife, interesting plants, and nearby military formations that they forgot about riding their bikes around the loop. We saw deer daily and many kinds of birds. Bathrooms have been replaced since we were here 12+ years ago, which is nice. The beach is rocky, rather than sandy. Between wildlife, historical sites, nearby Port Townsend, and the Sound itself, the activity options are endless. We also had good Verizon signal.

For Fort Worden - Beach: Great park with easy access to the beach. We stayed in spot 36 which has a lot of space between spots. Very quite except for the military planes that were flying around yesterday evening. Park was clean, bathrooms were clean and the people very friendly. It helps that we had a sunny day today. Hit the town for lunch, dinner and breakfast ... Great breakfast.
