For Circle R Campground: No older camper's rvs or motorhome allowed..do not recommended..not much maintenance if any? Even Coronavirus wont stay in showers or bathroom. So they have that going for them.

For Circle R Campground: Circle R was recommended by a relative who stayed there many years ago. It was probably the worst park we have ever stayed in. The place was a mud hole, bathrooms and showers looked like they were last renewed in the 50’s. Has a full service site but the sewer dump was so low in its hole that I couldn’t get the hose connected. Mostly full timers. All for $45 a night. We should have read their reviews.

For Circle R Campground: 2018 We had an ok stay; place was not crowded and we were able to get a full hookup and faced out onto an open field behind which was a corn field. The empty field in front of us was all set up for camping with electric and water; if there had been a bunch of people there camping, our site would have been no more than a hookup. But it wasn't so we had little to complain about. We did not have to use the infamous bathrooms and I never peeked in. There is a nice bar/lounge on site; owners seemed unconcerned about the VERY loud and VERY close fireworks that were being set off in the adjoining neighborhood; our dogs were insane for the hour they were going off. I can see how this would be a disaster during the EAA week; they have sites for several hundred, very squished together. For us, it was ok.

For Circle R Campground: We are currently in day 6 of a week long stay at the Circle R campground in Oshkosh during EAA Airventure. This is the only nearby campground to OSH that we found online. Where to begin... this once pleasant but now very dated campground has been passed on to family and is in serious decline from neglect. Full timers monopolize the few full hookup sites and you won't get one even with early January reservations like we had. 30-amp sites w/o sewer are available - if you can find the power post for your site. There is universal confusion about that as the posts are not logically placed nor numbered and ours was taken by another site. The sites are nicely grassed, but the roads are unmaintained pot-holed dirt and when it rained every day they turned to greasy mud. The permanent bathrooms are falling apart and reek. They have two stalls - one a flush toilet and right next to it in another stall an open pit toilet. As the week progressed the smells worsened and the waste cans overflowed onto the floors. We saw no service work being done on the toilet or shower facilities. By mid week the portable toilets became very attractive. All permanent buildings in the campground are in advanced stages of decline, except for the owners' new log home adjacent to the campground. There is a large open field area with no hookups that is clean and grassy and away from the slum that is the main campground. Nicer rigs including motor homes are out there dry camping. I'm betting they are experienced Circle R campers.
