For Kalbus Country Harbor Inc: Absolutely beautiful. We are told there is a new owner. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Excellent internet and communication from the manager. We were in the south section in S8 where there are 8 pull through spaces. The north section is more like a typical layout for RV’s with lots of spaces. All looked great though. Sites are pretty close together but in May mid-week nobody was near us. The grass was mowed, garbage close and lake right in front of us. You do need to watch out for goose droppings though.

For Kalbus Country Harbor Inc: Drove and drive out. It is on the lake but is low, crowded, muddy in places, and very poorly maintained. Reminded me of a homeless camp.

For Kalbus Country Harbor Inc: You couldn't ask for a better location! With that said, like most campgrounds, there will be a few kinks. The staff is down to earth and friendly. This is a busy place, and the showers and bathroom is kept well, (I said it was busy) so it is most the time. If you like to fish, this is a good spot. You can get a spot for your tent right along the water. This is a place I'll be coming back to, over and over. It is my second time here, and the only gripe I have, is the noise pollution. Lots of kids.. Great family location. People come here in large groups, so just use the imagination. If you are looking for a quiet place, you won't find it here until 12-1 in the morning. With all that said, it is still hard to beat such a superb spot for rv'ing or tenting. It's a beautiful place. When it's quiet here, it's a serene place.
