For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: This is a pristine RV Park with nice sites, excellent hook-ups. We were only there for 2 nights, so we had a pull-through site which was larger than most overnight sites at other RV Parks. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are many seasonal residents since this park is excellent for family-fun get-a-ways with the lake. We would definitely stay again.

Robert Hoell

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: Wonderful campground and management! This really was apparent when we locked our keys (and wallet) in our motorhome. There was a 2.5 hour wait for the locksmith which took place over the lunch hour. The campground allowed us to eat lunch at the restaurant while waiting for payment until we were able to get back into the motorhome. Very gratious! Thank you and we will be back again next year! PNS

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: [ TOP QUALITIES ] – Nice restaurant & bar (food is okay), well stocked camp store, friendly staff, nice pool, fast and easy check-in, quiet park, full hook-ups, overall well-kept/clean park, close to attractions (e.g. House on the Rock, Frank Lloyd Wright, etc.).

[ OTHER DETAILS ] – Very little tree coverage/shade, average sized sites, grass/gravel pads, LOTS of flies and gnats buzzing around.

Christmas

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: This was a nice campground but not what we were looking for. The staff was helpful. They provided a wristband for the pool and the miniature golf, We wanted a place to stay so we could take advantage of seeing the Frank Lloyd Wright Home. It was one of the more expensive campground we have stayed in and we have stayed in over 230 campgrounds in the last two years. What really frustrated us is when we discovered you had to pay a dollar just to get a shower. They did have enough open area for our satellite to work. If we would have brought our canoe or kayak they did have access to the river. They do rent tubes and canoes and also provide a shuttle. They did look like they had a bar and grill or someplace to eat, If you enjoy taking advantage of all they have to offer you would probably enjoy the resort, but if you only want a campsite and a warm shower it is expensive. The bad news is the River Valley RV Park and the Mr. and Mrs. T’s Campground that are located 2 miles to the North is not operational. So if you can’t get into the state Campground this is your only choice.

Cali Tierney

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: We have watched this resort grow over the years and loved all the great changes. You do have to book in advance. River floating, great restaurant and bar, pool, clean bath house and friendly staff. We canoe the river every year, it’s such a peaceful trip.

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: Great facilities right on the Wisconsin River. Great restaurant, swimming pool and now a new splash lagoon for kids. Canoeing and kayaking on lower Wisconsin river with shuttle service. A great place to spend your weekend. We will go back.

RuthieB

For Wisconsin Riverside Resort: Stopped early (3 pm) intending to stay for two nights, but could only get one night as sites are booked for weekend. Front desk staff could have been more accommodating. Once we found out they charge for showers, we were glad it was only one night. RVs are parked in a field with small trees, but that does make it easier to set up satellite TV. Won't make my list of favorite parks.
