For Red Desert Rose: Good overnight stop. Level, gravel spots. Friendly, helpful staff. Frequent train and road noise. Clean restrooms. Didn’t use laundry. Ice and propane available for sale. Huge, off-leash pet area. Dog toys and small pet pool available, as well as a mini pup obstacle course. Our dog enjoyed. Upon arrival, we noted several fresh poops an inconsiderate guest failed to pick up. Staff immediately went to pet area to clean up as requested. Cute place. Freshly planted salsa garden. Staff were working hard to clean up from winter. Great water pressure. We would stop again if in the area. Bonus courtesy car was available but we didn’t use this stop.

For Red Desert Rose: As Mentioned earlier, great break from the highway. It was not crowded due to COVID. Sites were level. Loved the big dog park and some of the best bathrooms we’ve had. The courtesy car was a nice amenity although we did not use it. Would definitely stay here again.

For Red Desert Rose: Nice park when you need a break from the monotony of I-80 driving. Lot was gravel but level, no problem with hook-ups. Courtesy car was a nice addition that we unfortunately did not use. We did have pizza delivered from Domino’s...fast. Did not use showers or laundry. Infamous Wyoming wind picked up the night we stayed so we were holed up praying nothing blew off the RV (all fine in the morning). WIFI and cable TV worked fine. Would stay again.

For Red Desert Rose: Staff very friendly and guided us to our gravel site. Impossible to use the sewer setup with our RV. Our dump is behind the trailer tires. The sewer dump was way to the front of the site and uphill. Since we couldn’t use the sewer hookup, my wife went to use the camps very nice bathroom/showers. No hot water. We did have water and 50 amp so our AC worked :-)

For Red Desert Rose: Nice park as others have said. I gave them 5 stars because it's about as good as its going to get in Rawlins, WY! Very friendly folks. WiFi was fine, cable was fine. All in all -- fine. I do appreciate the good sized dog park. It's not huge but good enough to let our greyhound run around a bit, get some exercise, and do the other stuff. Having poop bags there was nice. Free coffee was nice. The showers were very clean. IF I found myself needing to stay somewhere on I-80, this would be on the list for sure.

For Red Desert Rose: Super friendly office staff! They offer veteran discount to already reasonable prices. We stayed over an already busy time & only had electric/water. I don’t think the have an spare dump station, but would have let us use one of the vacant sites in the morning. We just used the bathrooms & showers which were very clean. The courtesy car was a cool addition I’ve never seen before. The kids had fun on the mini golf course. The park is all gravel, very little grass, no trees. Pretty level for the most part.

Rolling Stones

For Red Desert Rose: This is a nice open campground right off the north side of I-80 near Rawlins, WY. (Take Exit 211 spruce St.). The campground has nice long pullthrough sites with 20/30/50 amp, water & sewer conveniently located in the site. The sites are a little narrow but will fit an RV with the largest slides. There is a courtesy car available in case you want to run to the store or go get take. It’s free to use while you stay there. The campground has a fenced Doggie Park, Free Miniature Golf, Free WiFi, Cable TV, clean bathrooms/showers and DVDs for rent in the office. One thing you need to be aware of is the name. It is now Red Desert Rose. The Allstays App had it right but my Garmin 770 GPS and RVillage don’t. Stay here if you happen to be on I-80 near mile marker 211. You won’t regret It.
