For Movietown RV Park: Good for overnight stay; close to I-55. Mostly permanent residents; somewhat rundown but safe. There’s one row of pull through spots for overnight parking. Spaces are gravel; some more level than others. We arrived on a Sunday and followed instructions to self pay and pick a spot. $27 with Good Sam discount. We travel in a 38’ motorhome with towed.

For Movietown RV Park: We made a reservation over the phone for a Saturday arrival. We had a 37’ MH with a toad making us about 55’ in length and we were just staying overnight so we had asked for a pull through and instructed to just find a spot that worked. No parking spot was assigned nor was pre-payment required. We arrived around 1530, the office was closed all weekend, so we pulled into the park and began our search. DON’T plan to arrive at this park after dark with any rig of serious length unless you know exactly where you’re going. There are NO directional signs controlling traffic flow on any of the parking lanes. You have to visually determine the pull through direction. Since the parking spots are not all level, you need daylight to find the best vacant spot. Then, the parking spot we chose had a fairly narrow approach over a culvert. Drop a wheel off into that ditch and it’s tow truck city for a big heavy coach. Again, don’t arrive after dark. One final thing and this is a big gripe of mine. A properly configured pull through pad should have it’s utility hookups located in the middle third of the pad, not in the first third. By the time a long rig pulls into the spot and clears the drive lane, the utilities are 20+ feet away from your coach hookups. Power and water will reach of course but no one wants to tote around 30’ of sewer hose and we don’t, so we couldn’t use the sewer hookup. Basically though if you’re not piloting a long rig and arrive during daylight hours, this is a fine place to stay.

Alan

For Movietown RV Park: Basically a nice place. Easy pull-throughs, nice staff, and very reasonable rates. BUT, there is no WiFi. Thee campgound's WiFi system is nearly a dozen years old, was designed to accommodate thirty simultaneous users, lacks documentation suitable to maintain the system. To make matters worse, the company that installed and used to maintain the system is long defunct.

For Movietown RV Park: Stayed here two nights on our way south. Very pleasant and helpful office staff. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Only one bathhouse so best to be self-contained. Very quiet. We needed some maintenance done to our rig. Shout out to the office staff for the referral to mobile tech Dan Martin. He was excellent. Helped us resolved a couple different issues in a timely manner. Clearly knew what he was doing. Would stay here again when passing through. Cannot speak to the WiFi. We did not try it. Used the data on our cell phones.

Charlie

For Movietown RV Park: We have stayed here overnight twice. There were full hookup pull through sites for under $30 a night. It's nothing fancy but it is clean and reasonably priced.
