For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Easy access from I-81. We got in after hours and found a good level spot. Bathrooms/showers were excellent. WIFI great! Others complained about highway noise - we had no issues. Lots of grass. Very impressed!

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Convenient, clean, well-maintained! Only complaint is highway noise - which we could drown out with the fan.

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Perfect for our needs! Close to Frwy, very clean and well kept…friendly lady and front desk…grassy areas between sites…no negatives for us!! On our way to DC area and perfect distance for tomorrow’s trip in. Will definitely be back!

Heather

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Very clean, well kept campground. Lots of nice grass areas. Small playground for kids that looks clean and maintained (we didn’t use). Friendly staff. Crushed asphalt drives and sites (no dust and clean). Dog friendly with an off leash area. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the freeway noise. Ear plugs helped us sleep.

Melody

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: This is a fairly new campground right off the interstate. Convenient to get off and on but the trade off is constant traffic 24/7. If you’re a light sleeper, the noise will be a problem for you. The CG is open with neatly kept grounds, mowed grass and some trees. All hookups worked fine. We had a pull through site with plenty of room between us and the next camper. The WiFi was slow but worked. Cable TV was ok.

Todd

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Moved into the area for a new job with little notice. They were able accommodate us for a month and even helped when our timeline changed. We were in spot 15 kind of down the hill so dumping was a pain. We only noticed the highway noise while outside and it wasn’t to bad. The park was neat, clean, and very friendly. It is in a great area close to a lot of attractions. I would recommend for any overnighters or extended stay types. Great campground!!

For Shenandoah Valley Campground: Really close to the highway, and I think we got the flattest most level site (B3) in the park. A few pull throughs, but overall, you're in a mountainous area, expect sloping sites and plan accordingly. Small trees are growing, but there is no shade. There is a lovely small dog park, again, about 50' from a busy interstate highway I-81. If traffic noise bothers you, request a site away from the highway side. There is a beautiful small vegetable garden, with sunflowers growing. Gravel smooth interior roads, water pressure is good, but electricity has fluctuated. Our Auto-former has adjusted it for our coach, but other people have had difficulties with low voltage triggering shutdowns in their systems. Customer service here is wonderful, though, there is a small pool, a snack bar with reasonably-priced offerings, and a small camp store. Lovely location in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley - a fun jumping off point to explore. We camped at Shenandoah Valley Campground in a Motorhome.
