For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Very pretty lake, and nice green grass. Check in was super easy and the owner was very nice. We were pretty disappointed that we couldn’t throw in a fishing pole and if you don’t like cockroaches stay out of the bathrooms at night.

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Nice family owned over night campground. Beautiful lake views and sites accommodate 30&50 amp sites for any size trailer. Donkeys and puppies to boot!!

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: We had such a good experience on our South trip that we stayed again on our North (return trip). I got beautiful pictures in the morning of the sunrise in the morning over the lake. Great place.

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Easy to access. Quiet, friendly, well maintained grounds. Very pretty lake setting. Fairly level grassy parking spots with Electrtic hook ups. Class A Motorhome had to drive up on 3rd block to level up. There were some donkeys in a fenced area behind the camping spots. The grandkids really enjoyed checking them out. Would definitely stay there again. Check in was as easy as pulling in , parking in a spot and walking up and putting $35. In the Red Box.

Andy

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Our group stopped here for 1 night while traveling from Fla to Bristol, Tenn with 1 Motorhome, a TT and 5th wheel. Beautiful, quiet views of the lake, nice grassy spots with electric & water with a dump station and bath house available. Spaces are not paved so there was a minor leveling issue that was easily solved. The Owner’s Father was “watching the shop” and was extremely friendly & accommodating. A really great place to spend a night on your travels and we plan to make this a repeat stop on future trips.

Waypoint

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Was not able to stay here, but looks like a scenic spot. Could not get our 34 ft class A to get anywhere near level on the site.

John Evans

For Sweetwater Lake Campground: Great little hidden park. First come, first served. Beautiful views, old grow trees, wide spots. Put your $30 in the envelope and you’re good to go. Sites are a little uneven, but who cares - some of the nicest camping we’ve come across.
