For Hopi Cultural Center: No signage but the camping area is right next to the Cultural Center as described. Very friendly person at the take-out only restaurant where we stopped for info. There has been been no maintenance at the campground for quite some time: muddy and rutted roads, broken tables, litter. Lots of stray dogs begging for food. We were distressed to see apparent drug deals going down after dark.

For Hopi Cultural Center: The Hopi Cultural Center, Motel and Restaurant are all currently closed since the water pump broke in 2/22 and hasn’t been fixed yet. The tribe also got hit hard by Covid. But the small craft store/gift shop called the Corn Maiden (also on Facebook) was open, and the friendly woman there said we could park here for free for the night without a problem. She gave us the name of a local guide who could take us for a tour of the villages - Dickson Silas.

For Hopi Cultural Center: Stayed here last night. We got in after dark, about 9pm. We pulled up to the center and didn't see any RVs and weren't sure if we could park or not. The restaurant was still open so we went in and asked. They said yes, it's free just park in the dirt area with all of the tree. When looking at the front of the building it's to the left side of the parking lot. We parked in a patch of trees no system but plenty of room for plenty of RVs, has a few picnic tables. Really pretty. Plus the cultural center is right next to you and the restaurant opens at 7am. Delicious food and really nice people.
