For East Portal - Curecanti National Recreation Area: No RVs! Pickup truck campers ok if you have enough power to climb out. Paved road to the bottom of the canyon is extremely steep and has a limit of 15 feet including trailer. Has four or five camp places that could be for a PU camper but the rest are in the woods. Very pretty and historic due to the canyon, river, and Gunnison Tunnel. A must see area even if you don't camp there. The 5pm ranger talk is great.
