For West Shore - Cheney State Park: Arrived after dark without a reservation, and surprised to find campground almost completely empty. Self-checkin after hours. Got a big beautiful flat campsite with hookups, picnic table, fire ring, right on the lake. Completely quiet and dazzling night sky. Low fee, only $13/night. 3 bars AT&T. Wow! What a great find!! I have to assume this place is packed in the retime.

For West Shore - Cheney State Park: Stayed one night during off season. Had a beautiful, large, waterfront site (229). Restroom facilities were closed since it was off season, it would have been nice to have a portable John near the campground loop. We did find one by the Marina. Would stay here again!

For West Shore - Cheney State Park: Nice State Park with 50 amp & water. Level sites, some gravel, some packed earth/grass/gravel. Lots of spaces with room all around, No WiFi, good 50 amp & water. Most of the water is off from November - March.
Nearby lake is a sailing center for the US - because the wind blows constantly! Right in the prairie with wildlife & waterfowl. Nice park.
