For La Posa South LTVA: Stayed here in Feb. 2019. Lots of large level sites to choose from. The RV dump site has two lanes. The high demand can cause long waiting lines; some people say up to 2 hrs. We only had 4 RVs ahead of us, but we noticed the dump site was in nearly constant use most all day. Rinse water is available in each dump lane. There are two fresh water islands about 100 feet or so away from the dump site. Each island had two threaded faucets. The water was warm but had no unpleasant smell or taste. We purchased the 14-day permit ($40). Many sites had been obviously occupied for a much longer time. Night temperatures had been above freezing for only about two weeks but people were already reporting seeing rattlesnakes in the area during the day. Park staff were reminding people to be cautious and to be carefully watchful to protect their children and pets.

For La Posa South LTVA: We stayed here March 16-18, 2016. Lots of places to dry camp. We have solar but did hear a few generators off in the distance. Not loud enough to make it an issue. Very peaceful out here. Would stay again.
