Tom

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: Easy to get to. Six sites that are spread out. No amenities. Good for a few nights. Not sure it’s worth $30 per night. Not sure where they put the money.

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: Everything is great and peaceful, it would sure be nice to have full hookups, although the dump station is nearby, and it contains an automated truck air pump (5stars for that little jewel)

Paul

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: Easy location to get to, 5 minutes off I95! Well kept small park, no frills but convenient to Richmond and Fort Lee. Reservations and payment were all done via e-mail so it was pretty darn simple! We’d surely stay again!

Brenda

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: Small, quiet, well kept campground; 4 back-in and 2 pull thru sites. Sites are gravel/grass mix and mostly level. Google and Waze directions got us there with no problem. There is one gate with two entrance lanes (serpentine car lane with a straight in truck lane coned off next to it). Great location just off the freeway, no road noise, just an occasional distant train. Dump station was clean and had a free air compressor for tires. We didn’t need WiFi, cable, bath house, or laundry, so this place was fine for us. We’d stay again.

Melody

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: This was a good campground albeit a small one (only 6 sites). We had 50 amp and water hookups with a nearby dump station that was easy to get in and out of. The installation is close to Richmond and is a good base for exploring the area. My jet pack worked perfectly as did the signal for my Verizon cell service. The directions to get here are incorrect. G Rd and Strathmore never intersect. Look for signs for the truck gate and use them to guide you to the gate.

BO

For Richmond Family Recreation RV Camp: Adequate and quiet but few amenities to justify the price. No FHU. No shower/bathhouse. No WiFi. Dump close by. Very small shoppette/gas. Good for overnite since close to Interstate. Fast food, etc. outside of gate but be wary after dark. If u are just coming through the area and looking to stop over for short stay, there is another MWR CG about 30 mi north of Richmond that is FHU, showers, laundry, WiFi, etc. at Ft AP Hill. Same price but more bang for $$.
