Barb

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: This was a beautiful park. The road was kinda rough, but this is Utah and with all the winter weather there is no way not to get potholes. I have only one complaint. We got there after the office was closed and so picked up our envelope from the box. We were tired and just set up and went to bed. At some point in the night we sprang a water leak. Afte we took the water off the camper, cleaned up the mess, went back to bed and didn’t sleep much, in the morning we looked at the information and saw the warning about the very strong water pressure. I feel like that would be a good thing to mention over the phone or in the email receipt. We run a 1/2” water hose that suffices in most situations. If we had known the pressure was that strong we would have used the reducer also.

Alma

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Yes, I recommend Castle Gate RV. Everything feels fresh and new. Lovely clean functional showers/bathrooms. A bit of noise due to proximity to highway and trains. Price River is nearby and it’s a short walk to charming downtown Helper which is undergoing a rebirth. Stop in!

Jazmine Rose

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: My husband and I were disappointed. We were expecting the park to be very nice from the reviews on Allstays. The park is old and there is nothing special about it. Definitely overrated. The roads and sites are gravel. We are only staying one night so chose a drive thru site. Unfortunately the sewer is too far away for hookup without detaching our tow vehicle. The price is $64 plus taxes which is a bit high without any amenities. We are self contained including a small washer and dryer so did not use the park facilities.

Island Zia

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: This campground is super clean and the staff very friendly! Located near a very small cute town that is virtually empty. It is located near a busy highway and the road noise is quite loud! Plus there are lots of trains that come by very close but thankfully they go by very slowly so not too crazy but they’re definitely noticeable. The campground is new and so the trees small and the campsites exposed. In time, when the landscaping matures the campsites will be much more pleasant. Not a bad stay but glad we were only here one night!

Bob Boyno

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Great park, feels brand new. Everything is clean and the showers were the best we’ve seen in an RV park. Not much if any shade and we stayed here on a very hot day, it cooled quickly in the evening. The only negative is that there is no grass just gravel. Take time to visit downtown Helper, not many shops but some quaint restored buildings make for great photos.

Oscar A

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: First word outta my mouth was WOW walking in to check in. We were just going to stay one day, added another day for several reasons. The town of Helper has so much to see. The people working at the RV Park and the park itself is relatively new. It was built by someone who has RV’d by the spaces available. Large level roomy spots, great views pretty much anywhere. We chose the River side back in spot. They came out and guide you to the spot and make sure you get in nice and easy. Make sure to have a water pressure regulator if you want to hook up to water. Clean, spacious showers and bathrooms. They have a store if you need anything for your travels. They provide excellent customer service and are well informed about what to see nearby. The town has very friendly folks that made us feel like we were part of the community.

For Castle Gate RV Park and Campground: Nice new park. Long pull thrus. Great overnight stop or stay a bit to check out the train history of the area and the Harley museum. Nice hosts. If you need your rig washed ask the about Dave’s. They did an excellent job getting the Oregon coast salt off us!
