For Jackson County RV Park: Agree with Kris. Nice campground, but very complex registration & payment process. Found out that you need to apply for a reservation at least 48 hours (2 business days) ahead of time via their website, once you register on the website. After you are authorized and approved (IF you are approved), then you can camp. You can pay online once you have an approved reservation. If you arrive without a reservation, you may find the gate locked and the campground closed for the night, as they lock it up if there are no reservations for that day and no one staying there, which, they say, happens fairly often. For directions to the campground, don’t believe your GPS. From the 57, turn west on Ballpark Road, follow it around, then turn west again into the complex between the baseball diamonds and the dog park. The RV park is tucked in behind (west of) the dog park.

For Jackson County RV Park: Nice RV park with water & electricity at site & dump station for $20. Individual shower rooms and bathrooms. Laundry. Only 6 campers here on a weekend stay in February. Quiet park hidden behind ballparks & horse arena. 4 star because the county website is hard to navigate & paying online required approval from office. Level cement & gravel sites.
