For Petro Center: We pulled in to stop and fix lunch. Easy on and off I-10. There was a wide sandy area before you get to the Petro stop, where several trucks were already parked. We thought this would be a good, out of the way, place to pull over and fix lunch. CAUTION! Do not use this area as there are huge huge potholes, some large enough to swallow our toad. We did not see these hazards until we were already pulling into it and had to slowly navigate around them. The Petro truck stop had a large parking area out back, so if you want to stop here, use the paved parking lot of the Petro.

For Petro Center: As far as truck stops go, this one is good enough. Not a ton of parking but sufficient. I went into the restaurant to have the advertised Christmas dinner. It was buffet style and when the young waitress brought it out of the kitchen, I couldn't believe my eyes. The turkey was that sliced process stuff, and there was only about two tablespoons of it. The ham was ice cold, there was a scoop of mashed potatoes a couple of carrot chunks and the entire platter was flooded with gravy with a breadstick floating on top. I tried to bail the gravy out and tasting a bit of the cold ham, I did the wisest thing and quietly got up and walked out. What I really wanted to do was hurl the plate into the kitchen, but hey.......it's Christmas. I guess it's tough to find a real cook out there in Demming, NM

For Petro Center: Very nice stop! Clean, clean, clean restrooms (and plenty of stalls), nice employees, lots of food and drink options, Starbucks location on site, and Iron Skillet restaurant, lots of parking. A must stop for us! Recommend checking it out for yourself :)

For Petro Center: Very new looking. Very clean. Lots of room for truckers and RV’ers alike. There is a Starbucks and a great restaurant. Very nice people inside.

For Petro Center: Great stop. Easy to find and get to with our fifth wheel. Plenty of overnight parking in the back. Very clean inside. Even has a movie theater that shows old westerns. Restaurant looked good but we opted for breakfast sandwiches and fruit to go.
