For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: This is an update on the once great Whites Travel Center owner Bobby Berkstresser. He sadly has passed away and TA has purchased the franchise back from the family and also the TA in Lexington. Let's hope that TA doesn't destroy what Bobby B. worked so hard to create one of the best truck stops anywhere. Rest in peace Bobby/

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: The once great Iron Skillet is now closed. We stopped for a late lunch or early dinner and it is no more. We were told that they might re-open with a new chain restaurant. So sad to see even the great Whites has ended their sit down restaurant.

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: What happened Bobby B.? Your once great Whites Petro is no more if you want to keep the Iron Skillet closed for dinner. Even though the Quaker Steak and Lube was open and good it does not replace the Iron Skillet. Until you open the Iron Skillet for dinner again I will not be forced to eat at any fast food restaurants.

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: I love the Petro in Raphine as long as I am there earlier enough to park ..
IDEA .. Pull up the concrete dividers that are blocking the back driveway ..
(( That the old driveway of the Yellow
Terminal that was there ..))) It would ease the traffic going out the Petro's front driveway... )) Help.. I can't wait for the IHOP to open at the TA ..on Lee HWY ... Good investment

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: Huge truck stop. Popeyes Subway and Caribou are good - the iron skillet could use an update along with the restrooms on the truck store side. Well kept outside and even has a shuttle because the parking lot is so big.

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: I always stop here when on I-81 in Va. It might be different when it was Whites but it is still a great stop with a very huge parking lot.

For Petro Center - Whites Travel Center: Tons of parking with more coming owner is adding 450 more spaces. Huge shop chrome shop and soon to have 20 plus showers. Awesome truck stop it might not be the whites truck stop of the 1980s but it beats anything else on 81.
