Subject: haunted hotel
The Lumber Baron in Stillwater, Minnesota - third floor, southeast suite - unfortunately, I don't remember the room number. Apparently, a soldier (don't know from what era) got drunk, fell down, hit his head and died. The story goes, you can tell when he's there because of the strong odor of sweat that accompanies him. We actually did experience this off and on and it was quite strong although we never saw him. Our power would also go on and off and it was only in our room. There was also a strong psychological component to staying in this room - it was very oppressive and also, I believe we both experienced some sort of personality change, very irritable and cranky when we were in our room.

Subject: haunted hotels in Western Canada
My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Western Canada several years ago. We stayed at The Empress in Victoria, The Banff Springs Hotel at Banff, and Chateau Lake Louise. All of these hotels were part of Canadian Pacific Hotels and were built during the Westward expansion of the railroad, primarily to accomodate European visitors who would vacation for several months at a time in western Canada. They are now all owned by the Fairmont Hotel chain. Each hotel that I mentioned , and many more in that chain have very interesting stories about their mostly friendly ghosts.

Subject: New Orleans - Farimount Hotel
IMy wife and I stayed at the Fairmount hotel in New Orleans (on Canal just off the French Quarter) for New Year's 2000-2001. Early in the day I had taken the Haunted History walking tour of the French Quarter. I asked the guide to tell me about our Hotel. He said that he didn't have time to tell me the whole story, but that if we woke up at 3 in the morning and saw a small boy playing with the TV to ignore it and go back to sleep.
That night, after we returned to the room from the New Year's party (neither of us drink, so it can't be blamed on being drunk), we watched a little TV, then turned it off and went to bed. About 3:30 I woke up and the TV was on, even though I know I turned it off and put the remote on the nightstand. I turned it back off and went back to sleep.
The next morning, my wife told me that she woke up around 4 and found the TV on. Where's Rod Serling when you really need him? We didn't see a little boy, and didn't feel and "presence" in the room, but then again, we were asleep.
Since then, I've spoken to someone else who had a similar experience at that same hotel. They were attending a party and while they were getting ready, the TV began turning on and off by itself.

Subject: about the St. James Hotel
I know a little about the St. James Hotel in Cimarron New Mexico. I have been there once. Rumor has it that it is haunted. I Saw the story on unsolved mysteries some time back. Room 17 and 18 are haunted. I have a photograph of me standing next to the door. In the picture is an apparition next to me. I also have another pic of me with the same type of orb, but this one is in a different area of the hotel. I believe it was built in 1876 but don't quote me. There was a fight in one of the rooms over a black jack game where one man killed the other man and since then strange things happen. In fact, they blocked that room off so no one is allowed to stay in that particular room because of what goes on there. They even changed the room numbers too. You might be able to track down the story.

Subject: Little Switzerland Inn, N.C.
Little Switzerland Inn sits on a mountain top off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Built about 1920, I believe. Lobby reminds some people of the Overlook Hotel in "The Shining"
There is a cemetary on the grounds, between the restaurant and the tennis court.
Many years ago, the first owner was found sitting against one of the outer buildings one morning with a bullet hole in his head. Both housekeepers and guests have had odd experiences here, pictures have fallen off the walls, without any reason, cold chills and "creepy feelings", sometimes windows slam shut when not even a faint breeze is blowing. There have been reports of footsteps and banging in the hall of one of the outer lodges at night (the Eidleweiss), but no one there there when you take a look.

Subject: Pima Inn & Suites
Can you let me now if anyone else has reported cracking noises at the Pima Inn & Suites in Scottsdale, AZ? I stayed there 1 out of 3 nights originally planned.
( 2 weeks ago) I kept hearing what sounded like the wall cracking, but only when I turned the lights off and tried to go to sleep. I heard of wood settling in but this continued for at least 2 hours straight. When I turned the lights on, the crackling noise ceased. I complained to hotel management and they moved me to another room. The same noises were there, but this time it was aloud popping noise, I couldn't rationalize where that type of noise could have come from. I checked out of the hotel early that morning around 8 AM. I was so pissed off because I had an interview the next morning and I didn't get any sleep.
I definitely feel it was a presence there, although the hotel manager said no one else has ever complained of similar noises, yeah right.

Subject: Hotel Conneaut story
I used to work at Conneaut Lake Park, adjacent to the hotel, in the summer of 1972.I saw Elizabeth several times. She makes a habit of walking out of walls in the area where the burned wing once attached to the present hotel. She is dressed in 1940s style, and when she steps out of the wall, she stops and looks around for a minute or two in confusion.Sometimes she just vanishes, and sometimes she walks back into the wall.It was always believed she is looking for her husband, who survived the fire.

Subject: Cal Neva in Nevada
This hotel was once owned by Frank Sinatra, I believe from 1960-1963.Many
celebrities and mobsters stayed here. In fact that's the reason he lost his
license, the notorious Sam Giancana had been told he was never to enter
Nevada again and since Cal Neva's property borders on both California and
Nevada well you can do the math. They are a ton of ghost stories here,
one of your staff should go and talk to the staff at the resort, I heard a
lot of stories and I experienced a few myself. This is what I was told:
A manager who has the only key to his office, which happened to be Frank
Sinatra's office, told me a couple of stories. Now his office is right
beside/behind the stage where so many performers used to sing.He said that
he often will hear the old crooners singing in the dark, echoed theatre
when nobody but himself is there.Another story he told me was that he left
his office once leaving a bunch of files in disarray, locked the door and
was gone for about a half hour, now remember nobody else had the key. When
he came back all of the files were in neat piles.Another time when he left
and came back all of the papers that were once on his desk were on the floor
and an ironing board that was kept in the corner had been pulled out and
left in the middle of his desk.I heard another story that involved someone
disrespecting Frank Sinatra and a light on the wall exploded.
I heard they wanted to tear down the following cabins and really they are
landmarks, maybe you could look into it and if it is true, maybe we could
alert the public through the media. There are underground tunnels that would go from Franks cabin, number 5, and
Marilyn Monroe's cabin, number 3, and they would stretch to the kitchen and to the back of the theatre.I read in a book that Marilyn can still be seen
swimming in the pool, but I never saw that. I stayed in her cabin and my first night there, I was in a great mood but as
soon as I walked in all the energy was sucked out of me and I had to sit on the bed and I was just overwhelmed with this great sadness.I didn't think
anything of it but the days and nights to follow may have changed my mind. There was
definitely an energy in that cabin.I am not afraid of spirits, so if something a little spooky happens I usually will talk.
This are some things that happened to me: One day I was on my deck, just reading and I heard loud bangs on the window
from the inside of my cabin, it didn't stop until I went inside and talked to whoever it was and took another chair outside.I know it sounds crazy.
The next night I heard music, it wasn't really clear, it sounded really distant and static like, but it was really close.I walked outside to see
if there was music traveling in the air and there wasn't and when I returned to the cabin it was still there, it sounded like Dean Martin.
Another night I was lying in bed reading and I heard a woman crying, soft cries.I asked if she was alright and the crying stopped and all of the
hair on my left arm and leg went straight up in the air, like I had just rubbed balloons on my skin and then it felt as though someone was hugging
me.I was a little afraid only because I couldn't see anything, but I felt
a strange calm over myself.
Another night I had ordered wine or champagne with dinner, I had about half
a bottle left and the waiter really wedged the cork back in for me to take
to my cabin.I got to my room and I was getting ready for bed and suddenly
I head a great pop and I couldn't find the cork anywhere. I continued to hear music in my cabin for the remainder of my trip, I would
wake up to it at about 3 in the morning every night to it.Sometimes I would hear footsteps in my room and slight whispers that were barely
audible. I think that is all I can thing of. I was told that the week before I checked in a couple were staying in that
cabin for their anniversary since they were married at the resort. They had just gone to bed and ran to reception and demanded another room asking who's
cabin that was when they were told it was Marilyn Monroe's they couldn't believe it.They were in such disbelief because the heard Sammy Davis Jr.
and Frank Sinatra singing and laughing and talking.
This is definitely a historical place and should be preserved.Apparently
JFK used to stay in cabin 4, please go and check it out and don't let them
destroy those cabins.

Subject: Queen Mary Story
My husband and I made our most recent visit to the Queen Mary on Thanksgiving Weekend, 1997.We arrived very late on Thanksgiving eve, and checked into a cabin on B deck forward. The desk clerk remarked that we'd have the place to ourselves that night, as very few guests were aboard.I went down to the cabin, and my husband went out to the car to get our luggage.I'd been in the cabin for no more than three minutes when an awful ruckus started outside in the main corridor. It sounded like someone was throwing furniture or steamer trunks around out there.I opened the door and crept along the small side hallway that opened onto the larger main hallway. The entire time, I could hear this noise, sounding like it was no more than ten feet away. But the instant I stuck my head out into the main hallway, the noise stopped completely. No one was there. When I returned to the cabin and closed the door, the noise started again instantly. This went on the entire time until my husband opened the door and walked in with our luggage, and then the noise stopped for good.Strangely, my husband had walked down that hallway while the noise was going on, and he never heard a sound.

The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada is haunted by the ghost of a couple who eloped to Vegas to get married. But were brutally murdered the night before. And maids and guest have complained about hearing noises of a party coming from the room when it was empty, and doors closing by themselves, and even seeing the couple leave and enter the room in the wedding gown and tuxedo they never got to wear.

The Radisson Read House in Chattanooga, Tennessee has a haunted room (room
311).In the 1920's (approx) a woman was killed in a room down the hall
from room 311 (actual room now a storage room) but for some reason, she
haunts 311.She is a well dressed woman, who dislikes men and smokers. She
is very active and will frequently flip the television off and on and she's
been seen by hotel staff walking down the hall and entering the room. The
Read House staff speak very casually about her as though they're quite used
to questions and occurrences.

I stayed at the mansion one night in 1993 and again in 1994 and from 1995 thru
1998 made several more trips once staying 5 nights. in 1994 my wife and son
and i stayed in the room in the attic, being august it was very hot and the
window air conditioner unit would cut out due to the restaurant still being
open. about 230am i wokeup and noticed it was very cold and about an hour
late i heard a loud noise like a door slamming, it also woke up my wife and
son. later that morning i asked the two coupled that were staying on the
floor below us if they had heard anything and they all said no. in 1997 Paul
pointer asked me to take this lady up to the lavender suite as she had not
seen it.we were heading to the bath roomand had to pass the tv and
radio (ready had been flashing 1200 since i arrived two days earlier did not
bother to fix it) as we were passing it jumped to 1201the back and we both
said at the same time did you see that.. in 1998 i took a picture of the back
and what appears to beoutlines of three figures is in the picture.
I live in Conneaut Lake, Pa near the old 113 year old amusement park (Conneaut Lake Park) in which the old Conneaut Hotel exists. I have heard, as many local residents have of the stories surrounding the hotel. Strange happenings to visitors who stay in the hotel as well as the workers within the park who maintain the hotel do indeed express an uneasiness concerning the old building especially during the "off" season when the park is closed. To enter the Conneaut Hotel is like stepping back in time as soon as you walk through the loby. Little has changed over the years which adds to the feeling that there is another presence there. It's located on State Route 618 (a very short route) on the west side of the lake of which the town of Conneaut Lake sits at the south end of the lake. Some skeptical people have become believers if they've had the opportunity to spend enough time around the hotel. There was a team of supernatural investigators who spent several days at the hotel with lots of equipment back in 1999. I saw some of the photos on the internet from that investigation once on a ghost web sit a couple years ago. Sorry... I don't recall where the URL was.
Upon a recent visit to the Crockett Hotel in San Antonio, just down the street
from the Menger, my younger sister woke in the middle of the night to find a man
standing at the foot of her bed with his arms reaching upward.
My wife and I stayed at the Resort and Spa in Julia Staabs bedroom for a weekend.Nothing happened and if it did I wasn't aware of it.We were too exhausted and tired when we were there.Visited a lot of sites there in Santa Fe and did a lot of photography. At that time I was working for Nikon Digital Imaging Technical Support in Greeley, CO.I had looked at one of the Unsolved Mysteries episodes about the La Posada de Santa Fe Resort and Spa and decided that it would be a fabulous place to stay for a weekend.I took it even a step further and requested the room that Julia Staab died in.Our stay was fabulous and was really great. So great that I want to go back there again. The bedroom itself was remarkable beyond comparison as if the room is calling me back again.Everytime we entered the room we knocked before we entered and when we left the room we told Julia that we were stepping out and that we would be back shortly. Before we checked out we left Julia a bouquet of Roses and told her,"Thank you for letting us visit and that we had a wonderful visit and we hope to visit again soon".
There is something to be said about visiting a haunted hotel and for one my wife and I enjoyed ourselves.I really want to go back and stay there again soon.I have such very special memories of the room and the grounds of the Resort and Spa.I think Julia enjoyed our visit and wants us to come back again.
i seen a listing for new hope pa on your site,
for wedgewood inn. well, right around the corner from there is the logan inn,
try staying in room 6. or get a drink in the inn's bar area and watch the orb on
the wall. room 6 is noted as having a revolutionary era soldier haunting the
room with a tear in his eye. many a guest don't stay the night.
I would like you guys to check out the Reed House in Chattanooga, TN.I
stayed across the street at another hotel and got to talking to a bell hop.
He told me that he used to work at the Reed House. He said that one day he
saw a figure, but then brushed it off.He said a couple of days later the
same figure appeared again but much closer this time.Needless to say that
is why he changed jobs.I would love to go stay there but don't want to
waste money if no spooky stuff exists.I'm not sure if I am spelling it
right.Reedor Reid.
I live in Charleston Sc, and the Battery
Carriage House is haunted. More Specifically room 8 and 10. Room 8 has a
confederate solider and Room 10 has a balding man that
likes younger women and reportely will crawl in the bed with young women. I
called the B&B and confirmed the activity, they told me Room 8 or 10 has
some.
A friend and I were passing the ballroom area
of the Hotel 2 summers ago and we heard music, keep in mind it was about 2:00Am
(we were prowling about) so we told the security gaurd and he opend the door to
it and there was a woman and a man danceing in old fashioned clothing, the part
that threw us off was the fact that they were a few inches off the ground coverd
in a mist of hazy grey. Then...they vanished. Later that evening we walked
passed the room that Elizabeth was said to die in and every night at the same
time a fire hidrant was sitting right next to her door, now that may be a whole
other thing like maybe a prank or something, but the ballroom story was as real
as it gets.
One more experience i can share with you was a different time I went, last
summer, my brother came with us, and it was late at night, we were all sitting
on the porch and we told him to go around back to the windows with the kitchen
(which is said to be haunted like you have in your brief history of it) From
what i heard from a few of the employees no one is allowed near the kitchen whatsoever
at night because at one point a worker went down there and ran up screaming
about knives being thrown at the kitchen walls. At first I didn't believe it
until we sent my brother around the back of the hotel to check it out, and let
me tell you he's 22 years old and I have never ever seen him cry until he came
running back up the side of the hill, he told us there was a man sitting at a
table in an old fashion chef outfit and all he (my brother) heard was yelling coming
from the kitchen so he walked on to see 2 men throwing pots and pans at each
other, but the strange thing was one of the men was the same man sitting at the
table a few windows back. anyways, they began to throw knives and he said the
chef flew backwards and hit the window and that's when my brother flew around
the hill and back to us. Later when we told one of the workers they said they
knew about it and that they always try to block the noises out of there heads
each night. Apparently what my brother saw happens every night at a certain time
as if it were a play of some sort. Sounds pretty freaky to me!!

Subject: Brookline Manor Inn
We stayed at the Brookline Manor Inn on Centre Street last year. The attic room we stayed in the first night was fine. Then we moved across the hall to the other attic room the next night.During the day, I heard furniture moving in the room we had just vacated. The two nights we were in the second room, we were very
uncomfortable despite the cheery decor. The kitchenette and bathroom were creepy at night and we shut the doors to both. Also, the side of the room that they were on caused the hair on the back of my neck to raise up.The staff member said the attic rooms at either end of the building were places that guest often complained of noises or discomfort...The center two attic rooms were not the problems but the end rooms (4 of them total at either end of the building) were supposedly often a problem.

Subject: Just to follow up
I read the little piece on the Crescent Hotel. While everything might sound a little corny about the confused doctor, the
reform school and everything else there is something going on there. My wife and I had two incidents while staying at the hotel.
First we had a bolt that was locked, opened from the inside which allowed
our balcony doors to open until the chain lock (which of course is also on
the inside of the room) was taught. Then while sitting in our room just before bed and after a shower. My wife
and I both saw something that I cannot explain.
Her bluejeans were gently pulled straight out from the hanger rack (hanger
and bluejeans perfectly horizontal). Then gently and without swinging rested. She saw them pull out and at that
point I saw them pointing out and lay back down. There were no strings or holes in the wall. The rod was a normal rod and the hanger was the type
with the ball head that rests in a collar that slides over the rod.I am unable to explain this incident. That night we also were awakened by
crashing glass, profanities, and crying from the next room which I believe undoubtedly were guests but strangely I never saw anyone leave that room
during our day there and the lobby did not tell me anyone was staying either and I had called them three separate times during the night to quiet our
noisy neighbors. We checked out the next day more due to the shape of the hotel and the loud night than anything else. While speaking with the lobby
I explained that the hotel "Just wasn't what my wife thought it would be especially since it did not resemble the photos from the brochure".The
woman kept asking me if anything ELSE had happen." No" I said at least twice. Then when my wife and I came back to the room to pack, a maid was
there. She said "I thought you were staying?"We explained that we were leaving and she told us that she didn't blame us that she DID NOT like
working there (and seemed nervous and distracted) and that she worked at the Basin most of the time.
At the time the hotel was not worth what we paid. But, I cannot explain some of those events especially the hanger and the rod in the wall inset.I
checked that out thoroughly and could not find anything to cause that type
of movement. Another note, I have written the ghost tour several times and they have
failed to write back on all occasions. Have you had other visitors with similar experiences?

Subject: haunted hotels
hello,
i really like your website. i like to read about haunting. i happen to get liked up with your site,
because i was trying to research a hotel believed to be
haunted. I'm a flight attendant, so i spend a lot of time in hotels. I notice you were missing a few.
what I'm trying to research at the moment, is the Ramada
Plaza Hotel @LaGuardia airport. located at 37-10 114th street, queens ny, 11368.
i found out from hotel employees, that the building used to be a state mental hospital. many crewmembers have
reported strange occurrences there. such as the feeling
that someone was watching them, or standing over them. pretty creepy! also, i just spent a whole month there
and i would here strange sounds at night, like someone
was moving heavy furniture. this happened on many occasions, in different rooms very late at
night. if you find out any info on this hotel, or the history of the building, i would like to know.
the Ramada inn in Stewart/Newburgh New York is also haunted. reports of doors opening by themselves, but the
door was chained from the inside, screaming voices
coming from nowhere, lights coming on by themselves. one more, the LAX Hilton, is very haunted, i would like
to learn more about that one too. another airline i flew for stayed there, and people
experience unseen forces walking across a room and
sitting down on the beds!! tv and radios coming on full blast by themselves, curtains
opening.
i hope the info helps you out, and i found some inns on your website close to me here in
Atlanta, and i definitely need to check them out. keep the info coming.

Subject: re Conneaut
I was at the Hotel Conneaut this past weekend - Memorial Day weekend
(5/24-26/02).I walked in the front door and approached the check-in
desk.My three year old son went into the room behind me which is a
common room with a fireplace.I peeked in the room to make sure it was
empty and that there was nothing breakable or harmful for my son.I
told my son he could stay in the room, but be careful.I turned to the
desk clerk to begin checking in.My son then pulled my pant leg and
pointed into the room and said "I see somebody in there."I then peeked
in the room again and it was still empty. When I turned to the desk
clerk, she looked stricken and then she told me that sometimes a man
will show up in photographs taken of the room when in fact no one was
there.Did my son see that man?I think so.
Also, later that night (the Hotel had only 10 rooms or so rented out
that night), my son and I "explored" the halls and upper floors with a
flashlight.Of course I didn't tell my son what we were really doing -
looking for a ghost. When we passed the room that is supposed to be
haunted on the third floor, my flashlight went out.I hasn't worked
right since.I quickly took a picture but I haven't had it developed
yet.I then became disoriented with the connecting hallways and
couldn't find the stairs down.Of course, my son calmly lead me to
safety.What a trooper.
I enjoyed our "experiences" greatly at the Hotel. When my son is old
enough, I will tell him of his first ghost sighting.

Subject: Upset in New Jersey
I visited Paradise Condominium in Vermont in February 2002.I went with my future husband, my brother and his girlfriend.Upon arrival at Sugarbush I felt a little uneasy, but just thought that since I wasn't a very good skier, I was uneasy about holding my friends back from having fun on the slopes.Little that I knew, I was about to have some visitors during my stay.
We arrived at Sugarbush early Friday to get in some swimming and rock climbing before dinner. We had a wonderful dinner and got some sleep for our big day on Saturday morning on the slopes. We had a wonderful day and I did well, thank you very much. When we ate dinner we retired to our rooms. My brother shared the two bedroom condo with us.I awoke feeling that someone was looking at me.The room was totally dark and I saw the image of a man at the foot of my bed waving me to follow him.I blinked twice and heard the breathing of my boyfriend and touched him to make sure he was okay.He moved but didn't wake up, so I continued to stare at the man, when all of a sudden above the dressing table a woman appeared waving her hands and dusting herself off in a fast motion and waving to me to come to her.I was scared out of my mind.I turned on the light above my head and I couldn't see them.I looked at my boyfriend and he was still asleep.I thought of waking him but he would have thought I was crazy. So I switched the light back off and the woman appeared again right before my eyes, moving frantically and waving to me.I jumped up and shook my boyfriend and told him what I saw.I told him not to turn the light off again, but to turn on the light above the dressing table since I was so scared I didn't want to see those two again.
I forced myself to sleep keeping the blankets high on my head.I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy.I got up early and started to pack my things since I couldn't wait to head back home to New Jersey. When my brother's girlfriend woke, she told me she had an awful sleep. I asked her why, not giving her any clue that I too had a terrible night. She told me that she felt like someone was looking at her in her room all night and was scared and couldn't sleep. The hair on my neck stood as I told them my story. My brother also said he had an uncomfortable sleep.I still know what I saw today and think of them from time to time wondering what they wanted to tell me.The reason "Anna" felt that way was because when I turned the light on in my room, she disappeared. When I got the courage to turn it off again, the swung out from the wall, as if she was in my brother and Anna's room trying to wake them.Well, I am going to sleep now and I hope I
don't see my two friend again. That's my story. Thanks for listening.

Marshall House Hotel
We have stayed at the Marshall House Hotel in the historic part of Savannah, GA. twice. The first time, my daughter and I stayed on the second floor and not knowing the history, we still had a strange experience. I was in bed watching TV while my daughter was beside me in the bed reading the literature for the local college she was planning on attending. We heard a strange sound come from the wall behind us that sounded like a wild cat or something on that order, I have never heard such a sound before and we couldn't figure out what it could be. We asked around the next day and found out the hotel had just been remodeled and reopened after being closed down for years, but there were stories of ghosts that haunted it. On our next visit, Our daughter stayed on the top floor while my husband and I stayed in room 309(I think) It was a corner room. Anyway at all hours of the night we were awakened by sounds of a woman in heels walking around in the room above us and what sounded like drawers opening and banging shut. We didn't want to complain, but this went on for several days. Each day upon returning to our room the ice bucket would be filled with ice, and since the housekeeper came in nightly to turn down the bedcovers, we assumed it was her doing, and thanked her. She said she didn't do that, and didn't know who would be doing it since the room was her charge. Well, the last night I tossed and turned and was feeling hot and so kicked the covers off and complained to my husband that I wasn't feeling well because of the lack of sleep caused by the person above us. The next morning, when I awoke the bedding was pulled up neatly over my body and tucked in from the top to the bottom, as if the maid had been in and neatly made the bed with me still in it. I jokingly told my husband there was a ghost that felt sorry for the disturbance in the room above us and wanted to make ammends. We checked out that day, but I asked the desk clerk who was in the room above us. She looked it up and said there was no one in that room all week, but a man was scheduled to check in that day.

Yes, my sister, daughter, and I spent the night in room 218 last year. I was very nervous, having heard the stories about room 218. During the night, there was a loud banging on the door to the room, which we explained away as being some of the guests who had taken the ghost tour earlier that day, however in the middle of the night, my sister woke me up saying did you hear that? There was something tapping on the antique dresser at the foot of the bed. Also, my daughter kept trying to brush away something she felt on her shoulder. Since we had the lights off, we have no idea what these things were, but I didn't sleep well to say the least.

haunted bed and breakfast
I was writing because me and my boyfriend stayed at the james inn bed and breakfast in liberty, missouri last night, and we left in the middle of the night, running. we are from kansas city, and we wanted a night away for our anniversary, so we went to this cute little b&b located in an old catholic church. from the second we got there, we had a very strange feeling. i don't have anything specific, but neither i nor my boyfriend have ever believed in or had any supernatural experiences. my boyfriends spine was tingling (never before happened), and we had a very unwelcome feeling. it was the oddest thing that has ever happened. it doens't make a very good story, but there is something there that doesn't want anyone else there. we asked a local gas station attendant when we left in the middle of the night if he had ever heard anything about it, and he just laughed and said that he did all the time.
