Horse Meadow Campground

Off the Cherry Hill Road—i.e., off the beaten track. This is a lovely, isolated campground. All the sites are back-in. There is usually piped water, but there is no trash collection. The campground host is Wayne; he’s great. No reservations. Great fall colors. Salmon Creek borders the campground. Usually the snow falls by late October. You can get to the campground from the west, on the Kernville side, or from the east, from Kennedy Meadows. This is a great place!
