Manatee Cove RV Park

I stayed here for a month in July 2025 while transitioning to next duty station. Manatee Cove is very convenient with free laundry, plenty of shady spots out of the sun, and centrally located aboard NAS. At this time they are remodeling the laundry/bathrooms and adding many more spots. I would have given five stars but the presence of work trucks, trailers, and tractors definitely interfere with the aesthetics. The hosts are friendly and always available. Check in is at the auto center on base. Be sure to stop there before coming directly to the campground. It’s only 5 minutes from: bowling alley, golf course (27 holes), exchange, and commissary. Full hookups throughout. Again… CONVENIENT!!!

Nice small park. Very large base with a huge exchange and commissary. Restaurants on base. We rented a car to go to Jax Beach. You really need a vehicle if you want to do anything off base. Friendly, helpful staff. Free washers and dryers. Showers are good size. A bit old but clean. Our class C was a breeze to navigate in the park. Concrete pads in good shape.

Very nice and clean, easy to access the washers and dryers were older but functional.

After purchasing my first 35ft RV camper, I couldn’t have picked a better spot to park and learn how to operate it, Nas-jax RV site was great, it’s located basic in the middle of post and I mean everything is in walking distance. Both camp host were very helpful, and available whenever needed, they were above and beyond their call of duty which made it easy to fit in not to mention very knowledgeable, I will definitely be back again very soon.

Sites were level and sunny. It was hot! Camp host Manny was great. Free laundry! Yes, free laundry! Bath house very clean. Played some tennis. Should of played golf. Course looked nice. Price was right.

NAS Jacksonville, MWR and Outdoor Recreation take pride in the RV Park. It is well maintained, clean and neat. The staff in the office take your reservations, answers questions and has the best check in / check out process we’ve experienced. The camp hosts are knowledgeable, friendly. The sites are clean and well maintained. We parked in the upper level that had paved and somewhat level sites. We also parked in the lower level that was gravel. Both were acceptable sites, the shower/restrooms and laundry room are clean and well maintained. The campground is near the commissary and exchange. And the base is convenient to off base stores and restaurants and entertainment. We stayed here in a class a motor home. We’ll be back!

All the older reviews are still accurate. We encountered friendly hosts, nice free laundry. Some sites aren’t great. It had an irregular type layout, but nestled in nature. We stayed 2 nights in a 26 ft TT, on our cross country trip. We used the Emergency Room on base, which is open 24/7 and fine for basic urgent medical needs.

I'm only giving it 3 starts becuse of the size and cramp locations. The facilities are awsome.. staff very helpful. Location is good. Very quiet. Great hosts..and clean.always a great stop

This facility was very conveniently located for our attending a wedding in the Jacksonville area ...this is a well run organization and excellent RV park. as a retired military veteran I particularly enjoyed the military efficiency, security and the bugle calls reminding me of my military days. I will most certainly use this facility when visiting relatives in the area in the future. Reservations were made well in advance and checking in was a simple matter

The sites thru the middle of both sides of camp are to close together other than that the camp is excellent, very quiet, people are very friendly. There is a lot to do in the area and amenities are great.
