I am not an avid KOA user, so I really don't know the differences between the types. All I know is that this place looks like it's been designed to hold as many people as possible while giving them a little bit of room. I did not see any site that could not be negotiated with our 43' rig with 4 slides. There are trees in many sites so you may not be able to extend your awning all the way, but that's a minor point in my mind. The utilities are functioning and in very good repair, the roads are quite nice and there are cement pads many sites. The place is clean and well maintained. We were on a gravel pad that was level and well packed. The facilities are quite good and it's close to most everything that you'd want. We stayed overnight and would consider it again.
*** One note. There is traffic noise from 395 that will likely bother some. I used to live withing 150' of the I-95/I-64 interchange, so to us it was not that noticeable. Good Verizon and AT&T reception.

This place is jam packed crowded!!! They should NOT be considered a journey. It’s crammed with a lot of long term residents and seemed more like a low rent trailer park then travel R.V. park. If you have a rig over 20’ don’t even try to get around the back side (36’ Everest in spot 20) I had to knock on several campers to get people to move their vehicles just to get out. Mind you some of the spots had 3 cars attached to them and guest passes! Complete fire hazard! We left. I’ll contest the charge with my credit card company.
This type of trailer park is EXACTLY why we will not buy KOA because quality doesn’t matter to their franchise only that they check off the boxes. When you have a Journey level park like this and then try to compare it to the journey park in Port Angeles Wa well the difference is motel 6 in the bad part of town (Pasco) compared to Raddison or upper level business class. You just don’t always get what you pay for in a KOA and it’s up to interpretation of the reviewer.
Again so crowded that if your neighbor farts while running the AC it’s coming in your vents! Wish we could post pictures because we had 2†between our slides and the neighbors!! It’s the first time we’ve ever packed up and just left to boondock in Lowe’s parking lot because it just felt gross! We’ve stayed in some tight spots but even this was beyond tolerable.
That said the Lowe’s in 68 was free and exceptionally accommodating!!

Stayed here overnight in a tent. Restrooms and showers are very clean and well maintained. However the tent sites are very poor. They are situated about 30 feet away from the edge of a busy highway. As we stayed there during the week, this led to a sleepless night. Also the sprinklers were on at 4 in the morning, spraying our tent. Not a place I will be tent camping again.
