Beautiful little Famcamp. Level, spacious sites with concrete pads. Host is awesome and communication is top notch. Full hook up with wireless internet. Internet is weak so bring your own. All in all, one of the best.

Pros: Nice campground, level cement site, large sites. Laundry available, $2 each for washer and dryers. Full hook-ups. Nice camp host and they immediately clean the site when someone leaves.
Cons: Very loud due to Charleston International Airport within a half mile - basically in your backyard. Not great for sleeping and it’s a great 6am alarm clock!

Very nice campground! Nice showers, restrooms, and laundry. Cement pads to park on and lighted pedestal for water and electricity, full hookups. Close by recreation area. Commissary and Exchange just down the road. Lots of trees for shade. Close to Charleston for sightseeing. Cost is $35 per night. Camp host is very nice and helpful. Online reservation service is great. Highly recommend Family Camp!

A great place to stay to visit historic Charleston and the surrounding area. Everything was clean and well kept. Typical military noises, aircraft, small arms, reveille and retreat. Definitely stay here again.

About as nice as they get. If not for the late night obligatory Taps and the 0700 revelries and 0800 small arms range kick off this place is perfect. Nice level concrete pads, full hook ups, and decent/clean showers it is worth the $22/night. Well run and well kept - we will be back.

Heard that Betsy was leaving as camp host. She surely will be missed. What a great job she did. Good luck and safe travels my friend.

First of all, don’t follow GPS directions. It will take you to the air port terminal. You should have seen the looks we were getting going through there with our motor home towing a car 😂. If you come in off I-26, get off at exit 211-B (Aviation Ave) and follow the signs for the base. At the gate you will have to go through a huge x-ray machine with your RV/camper, and the security force members were all nice.
We were greeted with a smile by the camp host and she escorted us to our spot. All of the sites are concrete and level, with about half and half back-in and pull through. Very clean and neat and all roads are smooth and wide. The bath houses are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Beautiful famcamp! Now remember, this is a busy Air Force base / airport. If you don’t like the sound of jets, you may want to go somewhere else. Personally I think the sound of jet engines is the sound of freedom. Also, there is a large military reserve contingent here, so the first weekend of every month will have increased activity to include the sound of gunfire. The military firing range is about a half mile from the camp. We loved it! Hope you will also. Happy camping ⛺ï¸!

The very best Fam camp I have stayed in! The Host was right there when we showed up, took us to our spot,#18, explained everything and did all the paperwork. The place is excellent , very clean. The showers are out of this world, that is the world of RV camps. We liked it so much extended here for an extra week and the Host was very very helpful. This place is a 5 Star Plus!!!
