White River City Park

Great stop. Grass cut, nice quiet dark sites made for great sleeping. The sites are not huge but nicely placed. We were the only ones there!

For a free park to get off I-90 before the setting sun blinds you, this place is a treasure. Clean, quiet and simple. There is a water spigot in the center of the circuit and pit toilets near the entrance to the rodeo arena. I am currently the only person on the site - mid Sept 2022. If you are self-contained and not too big, it’s perfect.

This park was a real find! It was 90+ degrees in the shade and our RV AC had quit the day before. We stopped at the White River City Park even though it had no electric. A good citizen from town rode his four wheeler into the park to greet us. He said he could help us fix the AC. And he did! Thank you Dan the man with the John Deere. Worked perfectly the next night when we camped in Montana with electric. Good park , great people!

Clean and quiet. We had room for our truck and 20ft trailer. Not terribly level so leveling blocks are a must. Bathrooms were open and stocked with toilet paper. Playground reasonably nice. Pretty good for free overnight parking.

Sites so small they might hold a car and a tent.
