After years of allowing RV's to stay for 1-2 nights free of charge, Valley River Center ended this fabulous service. You were always greeted by a Security person, who kept an eye on RVers all night. It was nice. This ended at the last of December 2018. Security didn't have an answer regarding why it was stopped. Will miss this safe overnight sleep spot.

Just called - no longer allowing RVs to stay.

Safe, security came over immediately to fill out form for parking, very pleasant. Nice bike path/walking area w/ ponds and lots of wildlife. Lot semi level.
Overall excellent place to spend a night while traveling I-5. Unfortunately, mall will be not continuing program beginning Jan 2019 reportedly due to expansion of mall. Wish more malls had similar program.

Free with security, lots of places to eat close by, and with excellent bike paths along the river. Got exercise and a nice nights sleep.

Nice and close to everything. Security person very nice and polite. Filled out form and placed on dash. First two nights free. Third night $50.00. Verizon has good reception. Would give 4 stars if parking area was level. Entire area sloped for drainage purposes. Not horrible though for a free spot for the night.

So nice! You can stay here two days for free and they like having you! See a movie, dine at a variety of restaurants, do some shopping, and see the Eugene area. We initially parked near other RVs but security very politely asked us to move to the real RV area and to fill out a form. The tracks are far away. Very quiet.

Great location, close to downtown Eugene. Very safe, well lit. The security guard came right over when I pulled up. I filled out the overnight parking form. You can stay 2 nights. Mall opens at 6am for mall walkers. There is also a Starbucks within walking distance that opens at 5am.

It is just the NW corner of the rear parking lot of the complex. Fairly level, well lit. No signs to direct you where to park. Security patrols in a pu truck. Ok.
