Vast empty dirt area. A welcome option for free when the national park campgrounds were all full. We were thankful to have a quiet and legal place to park overnight.

Best way in is go North on Sunfair Rd about 10 miles west of 29 Palms on HWY 62. Go a couple of miles then turn right on Broadway for a mile. Pavement ends, continue straight and pick a spot. Our closest RV is over 1/4 mile away! Very handy to visit Joshua Tree Park. 29 Palms has all the services you will need.

About four miles north of the main road. Paved most of the way but a mile or so is packed sand. Gps directions are good. Big flat area with few campers. Lots is room to spread out. Road in is a little sandy and rough in one place but certainly doable. Walmart and laundry are nearby toward yucca valley. Free
