For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: Conveniently located park close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful well landscaped campground with a great walking trail next to it. We plan to come back.

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: Well, had hoped for more after reading the reviews about this RV resort. The area is over a 30 minute drive to Calgary and adjacent to a heavy industrial area, not real pretty. There are many restaurants nearby and the town of Cochrane is cute. The resort is well-maintained but the sites are quite narrow. Pleasant walking path along the river. They have small privacy hedges and trees which are helpful to block your neighbors but they are still very close by. Just feels tight. Almost every spot is filled with a large 5th wheel and great big truck squeezed into a site making for a congested overall appearance. There are also full timers in the resort which detracts from the resort feel of the place. We did not expect that. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. Access is ok for big rigs. We’re were in a 40’ motorhome. Ok for a night or two.

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: One of the nicest Parks that we have stayed in. Beautiful, well maintained sites with mature hedges for privacy, a nice patch of grass, large sturdy table and a great fire pit. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything about the place just felt right. Highly recommended.

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: Wonderful campground!! Staff was accommodating, each site has shade & grass (a big plus for us) there is an off leash walk/dog path that runs for over a mile with river access. Great place, we would definitely stay here again, just a little far from Texas!

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: We have stayed at Bow Riversedge Campground in Cochrane Alberta a number of times and we'd likely stay there more often if their staff and policies were a little more customer friendly. Their staff is anal retentive in terms of campground rules. We arrived a little after noon but were forced to park and sit until after 1:00PM to move into our site which had already been vacated and cleaned, ready for us. The same thing happened two days later when some friends arrived. Their site, across the roadway from ours, had been vacant for two days yet they had to park near the entrance and wait about an hour for the official 1:00 PM move-in time. All the staff would say is "That is the rule." They also lock the front gate at 11:00 PM and if you arrive back at your site after that you have to park at the adjacent sports complex and walk in. This is extremely difficult for my wife who suffers from arthritis. Their electric gate is already equipped with a keypad that could allow park guests in after hours. Again, when the park staff are questioned about this and asked to make an exception for my wife's physical limitations, their reply was "That is the rule."

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: Love love love this place! Yes the spaces are a bit tight width-wise but length-wise more than enough for our 45' coach plus tow car. The off-leash park is wonderful and it was such a terrific opportunity to interact with local folks, all of whom were warm and welcoming. Alberta is gorgeous, and this Park does Cochrane proud. We'll be back to stay even longer! Thx

For Bow Rivers Edge Campground: On the surface the seemed like a great park. A nice spaces great pull through for big rigs. The spaces are a little tight, but because of the hedges, They were very private. The hedges also caused a few problems with pulling in and trees while small I can foresee being a problem in the future. Our big issue, and the reason for the low rating, was access. Or rather exiting was the problem. They have a gate that is closed from 11 o'clock at night and tell five in the morning. My husband had a flight out of the Calgary airport at 6:30 in the morning. I was assured that we would have no problem exiting at 4 AM, but it was a nightmare. I don't know how often they test their system, But it didn't work. We are very fit Milyer with the inground sensor system but our one tongue truck would not activate it. Finally after 25 minutes I opened the control box found a button to push to open the gate and we were able to leave. Because of customs and security he almost missed his flight. The real concern is that the office just shrugged it off. If this had been an emergency such as someone being injured what would've happened?
