For Rest Stop: One of the few rest areas we have seen that is both open and being cleaned! Also good level gravel area that you could stay it if need be. Right next to the highway. Towing 27’ trailer. March 2023

For Rest Stop: Both northbound and southbound rest stops at Newberry Springs are still closed for repairs as of May 11, 2022. If you are in an RV we suggest the Flying J just outside of Barstow. It has RV fuel lanes Big enough for our 35 foot class A motorhome with tow, and a good amount of green grass for your pet to potty on.

For Rest Stop: Signage says vehicles towed after 8 hours. No one to ask. Not going to risk it.
