For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: Beautiful clean campground right at the edge of Waterton town. The sites are very well maintained and are spacious. You can walk or bike to all stores and restaurants from the Campground.

For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: What a beautiful place! Reservations are tough to come by, but we were fortunate to get One of the only two first come first serve sites available. The campground ranger was very helpful in letting us know who would be leaving the next day so we could check with them about a change over time. It’s very windy here most of the time. Beautiful walks around town and to the waterfall And along the lake. Don’t miss that Prince of Wales Hotel.

For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: We were looking for a CG that would be convenient to the town of Waterton and hiking in Waterton NP. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed in mid-September in our 8 metre (25 foot) MH. This is a beautiful and nicely situated CG. There are 8 loops and each is different. B and H were closed for renovation. A is mostly full hookups (some are not) with a few pull throughs. C, D, E and F are primitive (no hookups). G is electric only. Although there are views throughout the CG, some of the sites in G are quite near Waterton Lake with gorgeous views. We stayed in loop G. The sites are arrayed in an open grassy field with a few trees. Although there're no trees/shrubbery for privacy, the sites are generously sized. The sites are gravel, most are level. The washroom is clean and heated and includes good-sized, push-button showers with ample hot water and water pressure. There was good ATT coverage while roaming on Rogers or Bell service and good Verizon while roaming on Telus. Our visit was one year after the 2017 Kenow wildfire. Some sections of the park remain closed for clean up, road clearing and hiking trail repair. Roads and trails are re-opening as work is complete and several trails re-opened during our visit. Although the fire burned close to the town of Waterton, the town was spared and shops, restaurants, services, boats cruises were operational. The temporary visitor center is in town and quite helpful with up to the minute info on trail conditions/openings. All of the shorter trails near town are open. The Lakeside Trail was open to the US border. The Bertha Lake Trail (with shorter options to a view point and Bertha Falls) was beautiful. The Red Rocks Parkway is partially re-opened to bicycles and hikers.

Mull

For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: Nice location walking distance to town. Sites had electric (30 AMP). Showers and bathrooms were nice. We walked to town while we camped here in July. Town has a great playground 3 minute walk from camp that has WiFi. Great location. We would stay again. Sites can be windy if near the lake.

Melody

For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: This is a delightful summer town nestled in the mountains. There is a campground, lodges, hotels and B&Bs. Two streets are lined with shops and eateries. There are loads of activities for nature enthusiasts-biking, hiking, swimming, boating, you name it. Well worth the trip to get here. We will be back.

For Townsite Campground - Waterton Lakes National Park: Campground is located on the lake and within easy walking distance to town. Full hookup sites are in an area with no trees - other sites are in wooded areas.
